Remarks :

They can really take you for a ride if you don't clear the minimum requirements for attendance failing due to low attendance is a reality here.

Entrance Preview :

I took NMAT UG and scored an AIR of >200 usually admission shut for ranks beyond 700. Various competitive coaching institutes prepare you for the test.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Course structure is always a step ahead of the industry standards, there committee reviews the course annually and has some of the best names from the industry and the education sector to frame the curriculum. Some of the topics taken up are really innovative and unique to college, students are given hands on experience on topics like SEO and Digital marketing too.

Internships Opportunities :

Internships provided by the college are few, although the dean is taking up the issue very seriously and efforts are made to ensure interships for everyone. If you excel, you will find a place but you can never be too sure about this one.

Placement Experience :

If you register for a job, you are sure to land one but the profiles aren't usually the ones student aspire to have. By the end of your three years you are deserving of a much better opportunity than probably what the college placement cell has to offer yo Largely owing to the fact that BBA is viewed has a basic and general course, although at NMIMS it more rigorous than some of the specialized courses offered elsewhere. Average pay package 3 LPA A few students did manage a package of 9 LPA at a prestigious investment bank through campus placements.

College Events :

The college has usually abuzz with activities, it has various clubs functioning and one has plenty of options to choose from The college has well established Rotaract club, Enactus, Corporate interface cell, Marketing Club, College Magazine. Highlight of the events is Vaayu, the college's national festival wich pulls crowds from the across the country and students work all year round to pull off this massive three day event with flawless coordination.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Fees is on the higher side, probably the highest bracket for BBA, dont even think of calculating the ROI in the short term, you wont land a job that could pay for an year of education here. But that shouldn't be your outlook, the overall development here is something which is difficult to value in monetary terms.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

You could apply for the regular education loans, although I don't know anyone who availed this facility. The college does not offer any such facility to the best of my knowledge.

Campus Life :

Gender Ration 60:40 Student Parties: Most students are out stationers so they're plenty cultural societies: Again plenty and lively tolerance: The college is tolerant and so are the students, however you may encounter some form of discrimination while looking for a place to stay nearby. Sports club organizes sports events but they are one off cases. Te college has a football team, the students usually form interest groups to pursue their passion in sports.

Hostel Facilities :

The college has tie ups with nearby hostel facilities and you will find a place in one of the overpriced triple sharing hostel rooms on first come first serve basis. For girls, however, the college trust runs a fully functional and secure hostel complete with modern facilities. It gets reserved too soon so be quick with your registrations.

Alumni/Alumna :

The college is relatively new so one can't be too demanding with an alumni network. Efforts are being made to bring together the alumni together on a platform, however there is some time before the college builds a network that it could boast off. Slowly but surely.

Exam Structure :

The college switched to semester system from trimester system and the exam pressure is significantly reduced due to that, if you pay attention in class, exams shouldn't be hectic at all. The usual semester system with mid terms in between is followed, there is also continuous evaluation based on your class interaction and your presentations to ensure holistic development and not just bookish learning.

Admission :

Fill in the online application form, the dates come out mid september and shut soon, so you have to be up to date about the filing dates, make the payment, download the entry ID for the examination, for students opting NCR as their choice of exam center, NCR can be stretched beyond your known limits of NCR so be wise while choosing. The entrance is tougher than Symbiosis' SAT UG but easier than DU's BBS. Once through, go to the college to enroll yourself and pay the fee. The results are out in June and the session begins by the first week of July.

Faculty :

This is were the college trumps any college in India. Located in Mumbai the college draws industry professionals from the top tiers who have hands on experience of their fields. The college also draws some of its faculty from the prestigious NMIMS PGDM course faculty.

The course curriculum is highly relevant. The harvard business school online degree has made me choose this course. The curriculum prepares me well for the real world applications. Placement Experience:

From 2nd semester we started getting msgs for internships. Many of my friends have done their internships while studying. After graduation, you will get msgs for campus placements. I visited 2 companies and no offers were made. I don't know the highest package bt the average package was 2,40000 Lack per year. The percentage doesn't matters, personality and confidence matter the most. Now I am planning for my MBA.

Placement Experience:

Students from the fifth semester become eligible for the final placements. Many companies come to the college for campus placements, some of them are Deloitte, Infosys, tresvista, byjus, toppers.com, Wipro, Indigo, etc. Generally, packages offered by the companies range from 1 lakh to 10 lakhs. The highest package was 28 lakhs offered by Deloitte in the year 2020-2021. 50-60% of students get placed every year. Some go for placements and some for higher studies. I am also planning to go for MBA.

Remarks:

They have specialisation in retail and I am really into retail sector and my college was providing a specialisation with practical knowledge, we have a shoppers stop retail lab in our college where we are taken to every week and are made to do activities in the lab so it is not only about the book knowledge but also the practical knowledge and how to behave, act and work in the professional world, And unlike most of the other colleges which only provide their students with internships after their final years, in our college we need to an internship of 2 months after every year from the first year and our 6th or final sem is completely internship, so we don't have to go to college. This helps us to become good enough to work in any company or even our own company right after graduation.

Placement Experience:

Our college gets amazing placements from the biggest companies in the country from shopper stop for retail students to many more. Many of my classmates have already started their own startups thanks to the help of our lectures who encourage students to do these things.
