Going to college?

Remarks :

I have applied for ARSD And Sri Venkateshwar college as these were the best colleges on the south campus. And I chose Atma Ram Sanathan Dharma college because the course I wanted was there in this college. I didn't avail any quota for admission but there several quotas available like 10% seats for EWS, Children/Widows of the eligible Armed Forces Personnel, SC/ST, OBC, Persons with Disabilities (PWD), Sports & ECA quota candidate strength, J&K SPECIAL SCHOLARSHIP SCHEME. The Admission criteria are simple for every course in fact my course was for B.SC( Phy. Sci. With Chemistry) and it didn't take much time, you just need to take your documents like 10/12th mark sheets, Passing certificate, OBC, Or SC/ST certificate, your 12th admit card, recent photographs, migration certificate of 12th. The minimum marks required for my course is 86% in PCM and there is no minimum age you need to pass class 12th that's it. So admission is just simple you need to fill the form and these documents.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I chose this course because I loved all the subjects Maths, Chemistry and Physics, and many labs are also available in this college for physics and chemistry. Faculty is also great they help you whenever possible and make you understand what you need to know, helps you in your experiments. They are very much experienced and qualified, they have a proper degree and know everything that you are doing. Teachers are extremely supportive and help you in any condition and give proper suggestion to any student who is suffering from any of his subjects, point out your mistakes and let them correct, clear your doubts and along with these they take a test to test your gaining and after that help you in getting better. So the teaching method is also extraordinary than you had before. You will have a semester exam and it's quite simple and if you have studied well then you gonna score well.

Internships Opportunities :

There are various companies that come to ARSD every year with a great stipend and great work. Companies like Decathlon, Bajaj capital, INGLU, AIESEC, paisa Mila, kollege Konnection, Share khan trade king, eminent strategy, the Times Group, TWF, glinks, Career marshal, Brands Impact, Safecity, snatch, the dreams designed, picxele, nivesh, eat my news, Digi world, spaceblink, kgs advisors, AIS, MORE, TDG, HBSS, Nips tech and many more. There are various roles offered in these internship programs like Sales, Marketing, Development, performing clerical duties, managing social media and emails, event handling, researching, networking, etc.

Placement Experience :

From the 4th semester, a student becomes eligible for campus placements. Some of the companies that come to Delhi University include ABP News, Amazon, Azim Premji Foundation, British Telecom, IndiGo Airlines, Infosys Navig8, Shaadi.com, SRF Ltd, Tech Mahindra, United Health Group, Vistara, Vivo Mobile, Wipro, Macquarie Global Services, Deloitte USI, Deloitte India, ICICI bank, Outgrow, Boston Consulting Group, PWC, Decathlon, Growisto, BCG, Zee Media, Tata Consultancy Services, ITC Group, EY, PayTM, Dell, Tata Power Delhi Distribution Ltd, Wipro. There is a record of 96% placement at Atma Ram Sanatan Dharma College (ARSD). The highest package offered here is 7 LPA. The average package offered at Atma Ram Sanatan Dharma College (ARSD) is INR 3.5 to 4 LPA. I want to get some experience by getting work in different companies whether through internship or by placement.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fees are 13000/ yr Overall Fees is 39000 for 3 yr. This fee includes many things like your tuition fee, laboratory fees, Garden fees, library reading fee, security fee, cultural society fee, student and fund, games and sports, general amenities, dramatics society fund, NCC, NSS, placement cell, development fund, Social functions, water, and electricity.

Campus Life :

The college has been divided into two parts, the science building, and the commerce department block. While the CD block is relatively new, you’ll definitely find everyone hanging around the canteen area or in the huge luscious gardens. The buzzing gardens with beautiful flowers and green grasses everywhere, the huge library where you can issue and read books there, open corridors, and the bustling canteen area. Moreover, Mother Dairy will always be there to help you beat the grim summers of Delhi. They conducted the annual fest named TIDE in February 2020 and invited few famous personalities and conducted a competition with prizes. There are also projected classrooms for higher learning and with a good amount of space. A lot of Sports and extracurricular activities are on the campus and divided into groups. There are many societies with different work and Amenability. Societies/ clubs like Rangayan for dramatics, Arteysania for artists, Stellar for fashion, Vedanta for Hindi debating and etc.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is actually great as it helps us to prepare for the competitive exams like the cell biology, genomics and various other topics. Also, the teachers are very friendly and they teach through E-boards which is very helpful as it is easy to use. The type of exams is the semester type in every 4 months exams are conducted and the difficulty level is medium to hard.

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible in the last year for placement and there is dedicated placement cell called 'pinnacle' but it offers good placement in commerce courses but very less number in science courses and definitely neglible in chemistry as students generally tend to opt for a master's degree for better opportunities in industries as well as exams such as GATE. The package ranges from 3 to 4 lakhs. There are no specifics for the company names as the data is not continuous. My plan is also to opto for a master's degree.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Relevance and comprehensiveness by my course I want to become a scientist. And I have more opportunities in government examinations I chose this program because of my favorite subject. There are practical exams in this program also. They are using very effective methods by teaching faculty that was helped in understanding the material for the student. The examination conducted was average and more size, than the examination paper conducted on the given syllabus there I experienced it very well so I think this is a very beautiful journey for me.

Placement Experience:

The placements were not as great but the placement cell was working hard enough to get good placements for everyone. Placements average at about 4LPA. The vetting and everything was seamless and placement cell members were really helpful.

Placement Experience:

The placement cell of our college is very efficient as it widens opportunities for students and exposes them to various companies. The majority of students were pursued masters in various fields. Some of them were successfully selected in job categories like banking etc. The science students usually don't get placement benefits in the college. So the students have to be dependent on other sources for internships and placements. Many companies like Genpact and other visited Inside the college. Same was the case for previous batches too.

Placement Experience:

The college has an active Placement Cell. It organizes workshops, seminars and provides placement and internships in a wide range of profiles. Major placement opportunities are available to BCom students. Final semester students become eligible for campus placements. As per the stats of 2019-20, the highest package offered was 9 LPA and average package was 4.3 LPA. Major job profiles were finance, audit, sales, marketing, consultancy, HR operations etc. and 96+ companies were associated including KPMG, EY, PWC, Deloitte, Decathlon, UrbanClap, Genpact, Chegg, Wipro, FIS, Teach for India, Josh Talks, Inshorts, Careers 360 and many more. However the percentage of students getting placed is not much greater, because majority of students don't sit in campus placements and go for masters. Generally, BCom graduates are offered with better profiles in big companies (KPMG, EY, Deloitte etc) I am planning to go for MCA after my graduation .

Placement Experience:

3rd-year students are eligible for placements. The highest package of 2020 was of Mc Kinsey with 8lpa and average package of SGTB Khalsa 3 to 4 LPA. The students are mostly places from commerce courses as the big fours come for them. The percentage of students getting placed is 60% and I feel, I might opt for a job after a degree which is suitable as everything is work from home for now.

The highest package offered is - 19 LPA The average package offered is - 8 LPA It depends on the course you opt for, but the highest placement is for commerce and economics.
