Remarks

I applied for Daulat Ram College. The admission process was as usual hectic, with long queues, anticipations, tones of forms, editing, photocopying, etc. However, after tons of hard work, finally got the admission Once you enter the classroom where the admission procedure is taking place it becomes very easy. All you need to do is follow guidelines given by teachers. I have availed no quota. You have to score between 97-94 percent to get admission in my course without any quota.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

History was my interest since class 8, thus I chose this honors paper. Not sure however it isn't crowded here you can interact with them. However, some of them might be really hostile towards the students at some given time.

Internships Opportunities

4

Most internship projects are written by the placement cell of Daulat Ram College. There are also organized internship fests where many companies come and students can apply for the various internship based on their CVs Various kinds of internships available summer non-paid NGO based why some also offer a good amount of money enough to sustain the pocket money of the student based on the skills they offer. They can range from remote working facilities to visiting the office one so why to manage the affairs.

Fees and Financial Aid

No idea, however, there are scholarship opportunities for students belonging to marginalized communities. As for jobs you get internship opportunities which may manifest into jobs based on performance however it is not compulsory for all and depends on the skills of people alone. The college will give you ample amount to explore your skills in the form of different societies and clubs.

Campus Life

4

The college organizes departmental fasts in the month of January and February, on the other hand, college fests are mostly organized in the month of March especially on the north campus. As for books and journals your find books in the library however the sitting area under construction and most of the books are not in a good condition due to poor management. Sports activities are also organized by the college in the month of January February in which various activities are conducted. Mostly the college gym is opened for the people who are from sports quota and who get trained for playing for the college. There are tons of clubs and social groups which are managed by the students of daulat ram college like a ritva foundation, orators club tedex all the different kind of society from quiz to dance, to music to drama too, poetry, etc. Also have a student political body like ABVP 's wing in the college.

Hostel Facilities

4

I live in the undergraduate hostel of Delhi University which is in the Mukherjee Nagar Dhaka complex. The facilities provided by the hostels are very basic however the environment is very quiet and is surrounded by nature. Lots of things which are not satisfactory such as we're just provided fans and not allowed to include iron. Even the water cooler on each floor doesn't work sometimes and you have to walk all the way down near the office to get water. The best food is very healthy and hygienic, and it tastes good, we get special meals on every month-end and special occasion. lots of events are also conducted within the hostel which makes it quite enjoyable we also get study room and Jim however Jim lacks most of the facilities and is not always open. Mostly the registration process for hostel starts after you get admission to the college and you're allowed to settle in the hostel after the college reopens. Other PG facilities are available in Mukherjee Nagar Kamla Nagar and GTB Nagar.

Course Curriculum Overview:

the curriculum is decided by delhi university, economics wing and is followed by all the colleges of du, although few topic are often irrevelent which teachers tend to skip. i do feel that curriculum is pretty old and they should introduce new topic which are more related to reak=l world and give us real life experience not just bookish knowledge which is irelevent. they should also ask for students input related to their curriculum, teachers sometimes tedn to just do book reading. internal exmas are taken frequently and difficulty is 3 out of 5

Course Curriculum Overview:

It is a good course. I went for it mainly because I am preparing for UPSC CSE (pretty common around here). In that context the course is helpful, and also for those aiming to enter research, academia, museology, archaeology etc. However there are not many placement opportunities and for most it would be better to pursue masters later on. Teaching methods are inclusive, both english and hindi medium students can comfortably study. However both students and faculties have some complaints regarding the curriculum changes under NEP such as the sequence of courses in each sem.

There's a very active placement cell in my college. They conduct placement drives, webinars and workshops. Both the jobs and internships are offered. The best package was of 2024 offering 23 Lpa and the average is around 6 Lpa.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course is rightly designed. Plus the teachers often suggest books that can be read from library regarding course topics. The library is very nice here. I used to study in the library for long hours. The exam notes and everything is available at the photocopy shop that's inside the college. Writing this review really made me miss the college more

Placements definitely stands out as passive placement cell of the college is too good. They are quite aggressive and keep attacking us with getting ready for placements. As top corporate house like Big 4 and top Indian conglomerate also comes to our college for placements.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Initially i took this course beacuse i filled it as a backup for coming into delhi university but now i can say that the course is very interesting and it is practically applicable in daily life. Tho the theory exams are quite difficult and subjects like advance mme where max students fail exist but then also it is doable and has market value

Placement Experience:

The college has a placement cell which comes up with lots and lots of internship and job offers throughout the year, you get multiple new job opportunities every week but the campus placement is not all that great, B Com courses have somewhat decent placements. the college doesn't push very much or try much to get students placed, you're on your own.

Placement Experience:

Generally, after BA no one is placed and even if we apply for a job we don't get a good package. So, students generally go for masters or some other courses through which they can get placements. Talking of college placement and internship cell we don't have very good facilities as very limited companies are there for recruiting students. Many students don't even get the internship. This is a major negative point of college.
