Remarks :
There are two Category - self finance and Aided. B. Sc., zoology comes under the Aided wing. The admission is based on only the marks scored in 12th std( Bio, Che, Phy, Maths) on the basis of science as a major.
Course Curriculum Overview :
It is 3 year course. The exams held as semesters totally it is 6 semesters and the passing of the exam. How you understand the depth of the subject, if you know the subject depth then you are the master. Otherwise, it is too difficult to pass. And other than the major the college provides many extra category courses for many self employment there are found useful for your future.
Internships Opportunities :
Yeah! Some internship is conducted by the college and department for improving the knowledge of students by varies resources person for delivering their experience abt the way there crossed and provide their idea on the field of zoology. Time Institute was the coaching Institute that provides various knowledge on exams provided by them. What are the exams offered by UPSC and TNPSc and prove to coach for the clearing exams.
Placement Experience :
Yes, The college provides placement for the students. From the 5th semester itself, the students are eligible for the placements. TCS, CTS, Wipro, Companies from Kerala and other communication jobs are visiting the college every year. There are about 8-14companies visiting the college for the interviews. The average package provided by the companies are about 9000/- to 23000/- for the Team leaders, etc., The percentage of students placing is abt 70-75% of students placing in various companies and others preferring for pursuing higher studies. I'm doing my master degree at ICMR Institute.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
It's is an aided course so the structure of fees is very low and in upcoming years the fees reduce. The fees have to pay per year and with this have to pay just exam fee only. They also provide the scholarship for the student it varies according to category. Also, provide scholarship for SC/ST to help for paying the fees. The sports scholarship also is provided for students who are shining in the sports field. And the campus interview is conducted on the campus itself by the Placement cells in the college itself and more and more students are benefited by these programs.
Campus Life :
The campus is situated in front of Lord Murugan temple which is overwhelming trees and provides the life of many birds life(Mini birds Sanctuaries). They provide good air filled environment and Greeny nature. And beekeeping in the campus provides the learning of self employment and by seeing it make relaxing mind. There is more club such as the Biodiversity club, Green society club, employment development club, velachangal a Tamil club etc., provide more experience for the students. The library has about 4000 books for the knowledge of students. They provide canteen facility, Bus facility, hostel facility, self defence program for the students.
