Nothing much but have got some friends you fall into this pit exactl like me

Course Curriculum Overview

Teaching methods of marine faculties are excellent but in my course they add some additional subject like tamil and hindi which are useless and no neede for a mariner as the marine faculties are good in teaching and explaining but they also having difficulty in teaching as the requirements didn't meet from the college management

Class Size: 100Course Fees: INR 1000000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees is quite less comparing to other marine colleges like amet but as per structure and facility CMC is way more lagging behind nothing is there in my college and you didn't get anything value for what you have paid as fees

Campus Life

Nothing is ther these college management doesn't provide anything for students if we want to conduct anything we need to pay from our hand they don't even contribute anything but all those faculties will come with full family to njoy the events we arranged and they will eat food and go not even support us or contribute

Hostel Facilities

They are provide inside campus hostel which is not clean and even bathroom is like hell even railway bathrooyis way more clean and. Hostel bathrooms flush is not working , shower is not there and water quality is like hell of chlorine and hard water

Hostel Fee: INR 47000 per year

Admission

Firstly i went through google and its showed this shit college as best 10 marine college and I searched about its fees so comparing other college was little high in fees structure so I thought to opt this college but later only i get to know that even in addition 1-2 lakhs other college was superb

Faculty

Some faculties are pure gems but some of them are very cruel and partiality are the main thing over here , they are tamilians so they support for the students from tamil nadu as we suffered a lot from those teacher mentally

Night Life

Nothing is there to see in this remote village area nothing is here in this college and but only one place is there on e ground is there whit some trees we can sit there and chit chat up to 10 pm then we need to get back to hostel which is inside campus only

Degree with a dose of life

Course Curriculum Overview:

Our course covers the basic of the subjects and we have not gained advanced knowledge. Although well prepared, it was difficult to attend the entrance exam in other institution. Practicals are less than theory. So the course should give more deep knowledge about the subjects and also practical knowledge.

Placement Experience:

By 5 th semester (3rd yr) the students are eligible for placement but from 1 st year there will be placement class regarding aptitude, interview knowledge etc. currently any degree students are the placements we have like not specifically we have regarding psychology only few companies that comes for placement in ug . My plan is to do pg after degree.

Actually, you get eligible for campus placement by the end of 6th semester many companies like Amazon, Infosys, Google, TCS, HCL and many more companies visited our campus during a campus interview where many students got placed in very good companies the highest package give to a student is 150000 for a beginner and somewhat 70 percentage students got placed.

i chose CMC because compared to other college which i apllied this college fee was quite okay and it was easily accesible from my home i applied for AMET college chennai and got confirmed admission from there i didn't get rejected from any colleges i applied you need to clear IMUCET exam to join in this college for BSc course and u shoukd have 50% in your english and more than 65% in your PCM in your higher secondary studies this is the eligibilty criteria for joiing CMC...Read More

Reality of marine field

Its not about the rejection in other colleges it's about fees in tamilnadu compared to other colleges the cmc is best for studies in affordable fees. And also there will be imucet entrance exam the students have to clear that the they allow you to the college. For me it's about last rank in passed students still the cmc took me for studies they won't see rank. And like other colleges it's not 100 percent placement.placement is there if you are skilled and studying student the job is yours.and same the college infrastructure is also a reason for choosing this college it will be look like a ship very attractive and another reason is coimbatore climate near kerala so the climate Will be nice....Read More
