Remarks :

I have joined this institute in the year 2016 in the CSE department, I joined through the management quota because I didn't get a counselling seat, my relative referred this college. The admission process is very simple 1. I contacted the admission mobile no which was available on website 2. Filled the application available on the website by choosing the college and course 3. Blocked my seat by paying the initial amount. 4. They provided Rs.10000 Scholarship because of my Sports certificate.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I choose CSE because my relative son completed B.E-CSE in the same college and passed out in 2019 with three placement CTS, Tech Mahindra and L&T. Lab facility, Infrastructure, Ambiance all are excellent. 12 students have 1 mentor to monitor all the activities of the students. From the second year, you are in control of the core department. You have 3 internal test per semester. more value added courses related to placement was conducted for our batch.

Class Size : 60Course Fees : INR 50000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

It is mandatory in six sem break to go internship, in seven u may have a mini project and 8 sem final project. faculty assist us to do the same. Their mentoring made me complete two internships and two placement.

Placement Experience :

The placement training is provided from I semester itself starting with communication skill, reading and writing skill then aptitude starts from the second year to the third year end. mostly at seven sen begin, u except company visit. in our batch in have attended 12, I have placed in Byju's with 5.4lak package and got vuram tech. I hope nearly 87 CSE/IT based company visited during the 2020 passed batch.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Fees structure is nomial only when compared to other colleges in Coimbatore. They will time as discussed during admission, no additional fees will collect throughout the course. Many students of my class were studying through Govt, Agaram trust, YKTrust scholarship including hostel.

Campus Life :

we have a central library facility on the campus and a department library. we spent most of the evening time in the digital library with the internet but only 8 pm then it will be closed. English club helped me a lot in improving communication. we have a data science, IOT club. Gym, basketball, tennis, badminton and so on.

Hostel Facilities :

I stayed three years in the hostel. During the final year, I have taken room outside due to internship and project work. FOOD menu is finalized by group members with students preference. two months once they change the menu. two days weekly non-veg. Different rooms are available A/C and non A/C with two and four occupancies.

Hostel Fee : INR 65000 per year

Average college but a good place to study on your own

Placement Experience:

The campus placements start in the 7th semester. Due to the recession, there is a lot of backlash when it comes to placements. It has been quite poor for the last few years. But it depends on how the student is prepared for the competitive world.

Students who pursuing five and sixth semesters onwards are eligible to attend the placements and internship. Mostly the IT companies are visited frequently and core companies are low. Reality of Veltech

Placement Experience:

Placement is good for the CSE and IT departments. You can't expect placement if you belong to other departments, there is a placement for the other departments but very less. Campus placement starts in 3rd year itself. They have special classes for Aptitude skills and interview preparation GD and necessary preparations for job placement opportunities. 90% of students from CSE and IT get placed. The average package is 7.5 LPA you can expect a minimum of 3.5 LPA. If you are willing to go for higher studies you can contact the international relation office they have good relations with other universities abroad, they have students exchange programs, research scholarships etc if you are not planning to seat in placement. I plan for higher studies and research after my Btech.

Best place ever visited. My Sweet College.

Placement Experience:

The placements in my college is very good and top companies hire students across every branch with a good amount of package. At the end of 3rd year every student is elegible for the placements in college. About 20 to 25 companies visited for campus hiring and approximately 700 offers were given across the college from every branch. 60 percentage of students got placed in the campus hiring program. Highest package is 24 LPA and the aveyis 5LPA. My plan is to get into a good MNC company which is related to Aerospace technology.
