Remarks :

I have applied only for the velammal engineering college. No, I haven't availed of any quota for admission. The minimum cut-off mark that required for our college and our department is 128 and the age should be 17.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I am very much interested in learning about instruments and Also we have a chance of getting placed as well as core and also in its companies. The faculty: student ratio is 1: 15, for 15 students there will be 1 faculty so they can easily concentrate all the students individually. All our department teachers have completed a doctorate and also have teaching experience of more than 15 years. As in the other engineering college, we too have the same type of exams but it will feel very easy to score good marks as the teachers will guide you in a way That the questions paper will look easy.

Class Size : 17Course Fees : INR 150000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

KHAR company have claimed for the intern opportunities for 2 and 3 years and for the 4 years they offered for the job placements I don't know much about it though I am eligible for the interview, I was unable to get selected for it.

Placement Experience :

From the 3rd semester's students are eligible for the interns and from the 7th-semester students are eligible for campus placements I am studying 4th semester of my bachelor's degree in EIE and I have attended an interview for my intern for the KHAR company. Highest package - 20 LPA Average package-8 LPA. The percentage of the students getting placed is 95%. I would like to getting placed in ZOHO and become a head post within few years.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Well in the segment of the fee structure, actually it is quite a perfect fee for this combo of learning and has a great chance of getting placed in reputed companies. As we are doing our 7th semester we have a high chance of getting placed in reputed companies and when Coming to the scholarships they also have many scholarships like the first graduate, etc.

Campus Life :

Our college will conduct a symposium for each and every department in order to encourage the students and their innovative ideas. As our college has the biggest library and it is situated in the Billgates block where you can find almost all the books we need. They will provide rooms with better air conditioning and also with projectors to get a better understanding of the topics. There are many clubs and other occasional courses like rotary clubs, NSS, etc.

Hostel Facilities :

The room in the men's hostel where each will be provided with a cot, table, chair and will have a cupboard and each room will be shared by 4 peoples. They will provide you a Better food as you feel that you will feel like you are at the home. As you have to fill some forms and have to pay the boarding fee and mess fee and then they will provide you the room.

Hostel Fee : INR 175000 per year

Interview Experience :

As I get into the college in terms of government counselling, there are no such criteria for me. We have to submit the original copies of TC, 12th certificate, 10th certificate, community certificate, birth certificate etc. No, as a get through the counselling. I haven't prepared for these criteria.

Average college but a good place to study on your own

Placement Experience:

The campus placements start in the 7th semester. Due to the recession, there is a lot of backlash when it comes to placements. It has been quite poor for the last few years. But it depends on how the student is prepared for the competitive world.

Reality of Veltech

Placement Experience:

Placement is good for the CSE and IT departments. You can't expect placement if you belong to other departments, there is a placement for the other departments but very less. Campus placement starts in 3rd year itself. They have special classes for Aptitude skills and interview preparation GD and necessary preparations for job placement opportunities. 90% of students from CSE and IT get placed. The average package is 7.5 LPA you can expect a minimum of 3.5 LPA. If you are willing to go for higher studies you can contact the international relation office they have good relations with other universities abroad, they have students exchange programs, research scholarships etc if you are not planning to seat in placement. I plan for higher studies and research after my Btech.

Best place ever visited. My Sweet College.

Placement Experience:

The placements in my college is very good and top companies hire students across every branch with a good amount of package. At the end of 3rd year every student is elegible for the placements in college. About 20 to 25 companies visited for campus hiring and approximately 700 offers were given across the college from every branch. 60 percentage of students got placed in the campus hiring program. Highest package is 24 LPA and the aveyis 5LPA. My plan is to get into a good MNC company which is related to Aerospace technology.
