* no, only velammal Engineering college, not any other College. * no, not any, I have joined through management. * minimum cut off marks is 120 and age is 17years old. * based on our 12th marks and joined through management.

Course Curriculum Overview :

* basically I want to join in a medical field, this course is equivalent to it. * the faculty and students ratio is 1:15. * most of the faculties had completed PhD and all of them were experienced more than 10 years. * as our college is an autonomous institution compared to Anna university it is very easy.

Class Size : 17Course Fees : INR 100000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

* some of the visiting companies provide internship offers. During internship based on the performance job offers are provided. * in the curriculum individual students can do the mini project and attain knowledge about the fundamentals of the subjects.

Placement Experience :

* from 3rd semester onwards students are eligible for campus placements * ZOHO, CTS, TCS, INFOSYS, VURUM technologies, WIPRO, HCL, AMAZON, EXTRA MARKS, MINE TREE, HP, etc. No offers made in each company is maximum 7. * highest salary package is Rs 7 lakhs per annum and an average of 2.5lakhs per annum * about 86.1% of students have got placed. * After graduation wants to do higher studies.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

* no hike in the fees and the cost is student friendly. * students from the family who have lower income the government is providing them scholarships like. * first graduates can avail 25% reduction from their original fees.

Campus Life :

* national level technical symposium conducted in February 2020. * maximum 6 books can avail from the main library and online ebooks from MC Grawhill publications and IEEE journals subscriptions. * LCD projectors. * NCC, NSS, YRC, INNOVATION CLUB, MATHS CLUB, E-CELL, LITERARY CLUB, IEDC PROJECT CELL, INTRA Department sport. They encourage us and give importance to both extracurricular and co curricular activities. * Department has separate Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn accounts to share the events and technical articles.

Average college but a good place to study on your own

Placement Experience:

The campus placements start in the 7th semester. Due to the recession, there is a lot of backlash when it comes to placements. It has been quite poor for the last few years. But it depends on how the student is prepared for the competitive world.

Reality of Veltech

Placement Experience:

Placement is good for the CSE and IT departments. You can't expect placement if you belong to other departments, there is a placement for the other departments but very less. Campus placement starts in 3rd year itself. They have special classes for Aptitude skills and interview preparation GD and necessary preparations for job placement opportunities. 90% of students from CSE and IT get placed. The average package is 7.5 LPA you can expect a minimum of 3.5 LPA. If you are willing to go for higher studies you can contact the international relation office they have good relations with other universities abroad, they have students exchange programs, research scholarships etc if you are not planning to seat in placement. I plan for higher studies and research after my Btech.

Best place ever visited. My Sweet College.

Placement Experience:

The placements in my college is very good and top companies hire students across every branch with a good amount of package. At the end of 3rd year every student is elegible for the placements in college. About 20 to 25 companies visited for campus hiring and approximately 700 offers were given across the college from every branch. 60 percentage of students got placed in the campus hiring program. Highest package is 24 LPA and the aveyis 5LPA. My plan is to get into a good MNC company which is related to Aerospace technology.
