Remarks :

I had applied for Delhi University and IP University only. The cut off of Delhi University was very high as there are just 4 colleges for B.Ed. A lot of colleges are affiliated with IPU as compared to DU. For B.Ed a person should have a minimum 55% in his or her graduation and there is no age bar. To get into IPU, a person should first clear the IPU CET exam, he'll get a rank and according to his or her rank, the college will be provided in the preference of the colleges filled during registration. There are 3 rounds, in which you can freeze your seat or wait for the upgradation on the basis of your rank and preference. In the end, it's just the college fees and document verification in the college you get.

Course Curriculum Overview :

B.Ed opens an opportunity to explore your capabilities. You participate in every field from academics to sports and sports to cultural activities. There is normally a batch of 100 students and thus the batch is divided into two sections. The faculty is well experienced in their fields and provide excellent support to train you for future encounters. Semester exams are being conducted and before every semester exam, internal exams are being conducted. The internal exams basically give an insight into the semester exam.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fees are high as of the BEd course. For 2 years course, you'll be spending approx 2 lakhs. Scholarships are being provided by the IP University and the college as well. The college helps to get you an internship and recommends you to the schools for jobs.

Campus Life :

Every year IPU conducts a fest on the main campus where all colleges affiliated with IPU competes in various fields. This college celebrates every festival and held competitions as well. A sports meet is organised every year in the month of Feb. Books are being provided at the starting of the session only. The classroom has a projector, blackboard, AC, desks and soft boards. The college is attached to Kalka public school, so the ground is shared with the school students as well, so sports facilities are also good. 4 Houses are being made and various inter-house competitions are being held throughout the year.

Placement Experience:

The campus placement is really very good. We have many schools that are in contact with our college. These schools have regular visits to our college every year. In campus placement 80% of the students get placements. The students who want to drop and prepare for other examinations can do so.

Placement Experience:

Starting from the first-year plenty of opportunities for internships appear for freshers. Though I had never opted for any internship that our college had offered in our program, it is compulsory to do an internship in the last year. On average around 30-40% of students get the placement with good annual packages. After the degree, I would prefer higher education.

Remarks:

The college is good except the hygiene. The washrooms are really very bad. Otherwise the course, curriculum, teachers, canteen, environment is good. The girls are very abusive in the college and it makes the environment quite unhealthy.
