Remarks :

My college name is sviet. My faculty is B.sc agriculture (HON). The minimum marks for studying BSc.agriculture is 50 percent and age is below 20.for admission process we had given all original certificates of 10th and diploma.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I had chosen this course to be an agricultural officer. The student ratio of our faculty is about 200. I will give a review is 8 in teaching method. The terms exam is two times in semester and there is not too difficult and not too easy to pass.

Class Size : 15Course Fees : INR 60000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

There is so many internship opportunities are coming in our college .names of the opportunities is marketing, growing several crops in a proper manner with our using chemical fertilizer. Visiting in the village as an extension worker.

Placement Experience :

From the Sixth semester, placement Is available. The package of the company is about 15 to 25 thousands. the percentage for placement of students is above 20. after getting the degree I want to do a job .other wise I will go foreign country for doing m.sc agriculture.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The cost for the study is about 26000 In four year. the course fees per year takes is about 60 thousand. There is some scholarship in our college and the job is also available for good student in college.

Campus Life :

In our college sports facilities is good there is a cricket game, football game, kabaddi and many other sports activities are happening. College is good for the sport. and from time to time our college takes quiz competition, singing competition, photography competition etc.

Chandigarh University and Us students

Placement Experience:

From last year students are eligible for placement drives. Accenture, tata consulting and codeyoung recently visited. The highest package as of now is ctc 7.5lpa. For placements priority is given to the engineering students. Comparatively we science students get less chances of getting placed.

Excellent College with good infrastructure.

Placement Experience:

Almost 75 to 80% of students get placed on campus only but for this, you have to work hard and be in the top 10% for placed in good companies. You are eligible for campus placement after completing your 6th semester. Now the highest salary offered is almost 7-8 lakh pa. and the average is 4-5lakh pa. For a good package, your academics have to be very good otherwise you weren't going to be selected. I have not taken placement because I have to prepare for CAT. I want to do MBA in ABM from IIM Lucknow. It's my dream.

Chandigarh University For Agriculture Course

Placement Experience:

After completion of 1st year, they divide students on the basis of taking placements or no placement students and they charge 10,000 extra those who opt for sitting in placement. They mainly focus on BTech students however in Agriculture some companies like Nestle visit and it started in 2019 only. Chandigarh University is not ICAR accredited so there is no surety that they will provide placements to agriculture students. However, you can take internships outside the campus and can also get a post in FOREST SERVICES after clearing UPSC-IFS. They provide coaching for civil services exams but they ask for fees i.e. 60,000 per year.

Placement Experience:

From the last 2 semester, students are eligible for campus placements. Too many companies visited like google, amazon, Dell, meesho etc. The highest package according to my knowledge is around 14lcas per annum. Almost all good students get placed that serious about studies. My plans after getting a degree to take a placement at a very good package.

SVIET is good college for the placement and brilliant future of students

Placement Experience:

From the 6th Semester, students become eligible for campus placements. there are many companies visited on the campus and no. Of offers are made. The highest package offered by the companies is rupees 15.5 LPA offered by Amazon.com. There are overall 60 to 70% students who are getting placement. After my degree, I have to that a job in a well reputed company.

Admission:

I remember that i that time i was young and i have an extreme determination inside me i love my country and it was everything for me as a person i respect army and farmers too much. Tried to crack Indian defense exams but i was fail so then i took my admission in bsc Agriculture the course is not much popular among students but the demand for tarined professional in agriculture field is very high

Placement Experience:

No i hadn't avail any placement because i left my course in 2nd year due to some family issues but as i see the top MNCs top companies like Nestlé, Microsoft, Amazon Flipkart Google etc came for placement i remember in 2016 more than 300 companies came to the college
