Remarks :
The admission process was quite smooth, faculty too was helpful. Different rooms were marked for admission of different courses, which was very nice. The stationary market for photocopy and other things was also very nearby. The overall experience was really smooth.
Course Curriculum Overview :
So for our course which was in Operational Research, there was no faculty and it was very disturbing. We as students had to write letters to the teacher in charge and constantly follow up. Only a visiting faculty was hired 1 month before the exam. It was very disturbing for all the students to cope up with the syllabus at last. Apart from this, one subject faculty for all other subjects was very cooperative and nice. Finally, in our 2nd year, a teacher was hired on an ad hoc basis for Operational Research.
Internships Opportunities :
A good number of internships are there but mostly in the field of Sales and Marketing, Content Writing, etc. Placement Cell is very active and placements are improving drastically every year. You can join the placement cell and thrive to bring more companies on board. Apart from college placement cell, there are also a good number of companies off campus if your profile is good.
Placement Experience :
Okay so now the important part, not many good companies visit but yes, there are companies visiting. You can expect an average kind of role for both placement and internships. The placement cell is very active, they organize an internship fair every year in February. They thrive to bring good companies on board.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
So this is the best part, the fees are very nominal. anybody can pay it easily it's just 13k per annum approx. The cherry on the top is you can even pay this 13k in EMI's over the period of 12 months. So fees are not an issue at all.
Campus Life :
Campus life is also good, there is a good number of societies like SFAR, COMHUB, NSS, JUNOON, ENACTUS to name a few, though none of them work on a very large scale, they do provide adequate exposure. Do not hesitate just join in the very first semester.
