  • Hostel cannot be availed by all students ,only top scorers could get into it. although you can get it by another year if you score well in your semester exams
  • During examination there used to be gap of 5 to 6 day's on an average that makes it longer and takes a month to complete.

Course Curriculum Overview :

philosophy is one of the optional subject of UPSC. it helps to bring balance in life and stability in our decision they should also take students to perform Yoga ..so that a proper connection (yog) between their mind and body can be built. exam are based on the syllabus, once you look into the syllabus then you find it very easy. Questions are asked directly, timing of exam 3 hours , Due to New education policy SEC, AEC and VAC has been added in our courses their exams are also conducted based on the paper that you have selected. In every semester you get chance to change your GE,SEC,VAC and AEC.

Internships Opportunities :

- when I was in 2nd year then I had given an interview for internship within college. But couldn't get it as I don't have IT skills. An commerce student can better explain about internship because they used to get it in a good proportion.

Placement Experience :

In the second semester, I was given an interview for an internship within college..that required IT skills that one must possess to avail of such benefits. I'm not sure about it as it is known mostly among commerce students I have heard about a highest package of 18 lakhs and an average of 10 lakhs I will be pursuing an MA in my course and going for civil services.

Fees and Financial Aid :

The tution fee varies based on the course, for my course, it is 22000 yearly (for two semesters) A scholarship is provided by Reliance Foundation that ranges from 3 to 4 lakh. the college also takes interview and refund fees of students such as 25%(generally for 1st-year students),50%(generally for 2nd-year students, )and even 100% (generally for 3rd-year students). Along with it, many scholarship-giving platforms can be accessed by Students. One has to be very active regarding their scholarship. I don't have taken any campus employment but have seen others performing it. Along with it college also gives internship opportunities for students within campus. To avail of this students must be aware of IT.

Campus Life :

The fest is held annually. our college Library is the best among the other colleges of DU. Our librarian has also received an award for it. I think all journals and magazines are provided within our library, also desktop facilities are provided. It is fully digital and accessible to students. classrooms are digital along with AC in every classroom khelo Hansraj, an annual sports month is organized within our college. where girls are necessary to participate in each team with a proportion of 7:4 (for cricket). This makes everyone participate and enjoy games. ABVP is very active in our college which listens and helps students in any matter.

Admission :

student must take atleast four subjects that they have taken in their class 12 for CUET exam. All information is provided at CSAS your reservation certificate format must be of central level The difficulty level is easy, straight questions are asked, and you have to take your exam in one or two days, by sitting long in the examination hall. The admission process is very good and user-friendly.

Faculty :

Faculty of our college are very well qualified and always ready to help their students at any time. I would want to share an instance "once I was in doubt regarding my courier then I started to ask my faculty member about it. He understood my concern and talked to me for more than 30 minutes by standing at one place." This shows their determination that they have for their students. Ratio - 1:40 Mentor ratio - 1:10 We can interact with teachers at anytime...they are like our parents.. always ready to help.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The ba programe here is little different from other colleges accross the country. The curriculum is quite diversified. If you are intrested in arts , there is lot to learn. If one want to become writter or any thing related to literature , or want to become historian , geo-politics expert, etc. The course is quite good. The exams held every four and a half or five months and the difficulty level is moderate.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Like this course is about rights and authorities which is very important for everyone nowadays and specially when you are a girl so that nobody couldn't dominate you. We read about what were the past sceniors towards the lower castes or women which is also happens in most of the states and cities but this curriculum taught us whats the reality of the world and how to be independent and how to protest for our rights . Even we can more learn about this if the faculity organises those things via presentation or streamings with some videos so it will be more helpful in our exams too!!

Course Curriculum Overview:

English honours was my first preference because I like to read and write. Analysing texts is something I was always fond of and with the guidance of my professors it's become more fun. The course has not much placements opportunities.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Coming to english hons I had a little different expectations and this turned out to be a little different, This course is too much till where I have studied is inclined towards literature which sometimes students do not like. There are many subjects inside the core, but subjects like literary studies caught lot of attention due to it's attractiveness and different perspectives. Sometimes things go a lot off syllabus which disrupts mindful learning but thankgod it's just 30-40% of it.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is not updated . Teachers uses old method of teaching on pen and paper. Like in statistics now various tools are available in market and instead of making us learn those tools teachers are teaching the most basic things on pen and paper. But the course is very demanding nowadays.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is basically design to study economics in a depth so that the understanding of student related to world economic, how economics work , how it affect an individual etc increase and he can work more efficiently to give theories and work in the companies related to economics. The curriculum includes value added course and skill enhanced courses that help us to learn different types of skills that are required in the real world applications. Improvement in these can be done by asking the student to apply all these into real life and connect students with the real life approaches related to the course. For core subjects the timing of paper is 3 hours and for sec and vac courses the timing of paper is 1 hour.
