Remarks
I didn't avail any quota, I got admission at 95.75%. The criteria for admission in b.com(Hons) was min 95.75% for general and the student should have passed 10+2 from any board. The admission procedure was pretty simple. We had to register on Delhi University's website, then a separate portal was formed for the cut-off lists and admissions. The payment was also done through these portals.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose b.com (Hons) because I am from the commerce stream and I wanted to explore myself. The faculty in Daulat Ram College is great. The faculty: student ratio is also okay. We have around 50 students in one class. The teachers are well qualified and the methods taught by them are pretty easy to learn. The exams were a bit difficult to pass as it was online and a new thing to handle with all the tension of network issues and website issues.
Internships Opportunities
The college provides internship opportunities from 1st year itself. The college has a society for placements known as placement cell. The internships are mostly management and communication skill-based.
Placement Experience
Students from the final year are eligible for placements. The college provides good and various placement opportunities. Around 50% of students get placed. My plans after b.com(Hons) are to go for post-graduation.
Fees and Financial Aid
Daulat Ram College is an affordable college. The fee structure is good. There are also various scholarship opportunities in the college. The college also provides various internships from the 1st year itself.
Campus Life
Due to covid our batch could not attend the physical classes or go to the college, but the college organizes many fests which are very entertaining. Also, there are many extracurricular activities available like dancing, singing, basketball, different kinds of societies and many more.
