Remarks :

I applied for RIM Bangalore because it consistently ranked among the top B-school in Bangalore as well as India. Also, the placement opportunities and previous record was exceptionally good. The college was offering the best placement drive from top companies. Also, I was really attracted towards the facilities being offered there and the infrastructure the institute had. To start the application process, I submitted an online application form for an application fee of INR 1000.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The program provided me with an opportunity for personal as well as personal growth through a rigorous interactive learning environment. The program helped me bridge the gap and help us reach the desired skills for a leader. Talking about the faculty department, overall the faculties were just great and also, we used to have have occasional guest lectures which were good for entrepreneurship perspective.

Placement Experience :

My institute has an active placement cell which arranges the final and summer placements for us. A high qualified manager of the corporate world is the head of the placement cell. The prominent recruiters of the institute include Tata Capital, Kotak Mahindra Bank, CGI Group, Axis Bank, Azim Premji Foundation, Godrej & Boyce, Goldman Sachs, Yes Bank, Naukri.com, ICICI Group, HDFC Bank, Eenadu, KPMG, ITC Ltd., J.K.Tyre & Industries, etc. With a placement rate of more than 97%, my batchmates received CTC as high as INR 15,00,000.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

RIM fee structure for the PGDM program during my batch was a total of 2-years INR 750000. The fee structure is pretty high but it was all worth it in the end, and there are also scholarship programs available for us so that they can avail financial assistance.

Campus Life :

We have recently shifted to a new building and the classrooms here are well-appointed to create quality learning environment for us and they are bigger than the previous building. There are CCTV cameras in all the class rooms and corridors. An added benefit to this new building is the underground parking facility. Also, the library has a lot of materials for reference with a seating capacity of 60 students. Also, my Institute provides the us exposure to state-of-the-art technology integrated with the teaching and learning facilities. Different clubs are also available for some extra curricular, such as HR, Finance, Communicare, Wealth Management, Marketing, etc. These are some of the facilities offered by the Institute to cater to our needs.

Hostel Facilities :

The hostel is quite spacious and has enough room of students. There are separate hostel facilities for both male and female students with well-equipped rooms. Also, the hostels are located in close proximity to campus.

Admission :

After being shortlisted on the basis of my CAT marks, I was called for the final round, where I had to go through a Group discussion and a Personal interview. In the personal interview process, I had to answer the questions carefully with crisp and short answers. The questions were related to General Awareness, Current Affairs, Work Experience, industry requirements, challenges etc.

Just after the 2nd semester the placements start. Companies like Deloitte,PWC,EY,KPMG,Broadride,Storeking, trivago,My Captain,Indusland Bank, HDFC bank,Factset, Genpact,Cadbury,Manipal Hospitals and many more companies come for placement. The highest package in my opinion may be around 8.4 lpa and average would be around 5 lpa. The profile offered were mostly Finance analyst, Tax Consultant and marketing. Idk the exact percentage but mostly everyone gets a placement. I would join Deloitte after I receive my offer letter.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum from the university is transferred by the teachers in a digestive manner with all relevant example , live scenarios, case study activities and much more. The exams on average come after 3 months of a semester commencing , the difficulty towards the exam itself is moderate.

Placement Experience:

Placement Cell is very hardworking and they do provide placement support for all specializations but most of the jobs that are offered are marketing or customer support roles so it's always encouraged to look for job opportunities through other sources as well.

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities are excellent in Indus Business Academy. Alot of good companies come to the college for the placement and almost all the student get placed in a good company. iIf the student has payed attention in the classes and the tasks assigned then getting into a company is not difficult. The students start getting placed soon after the completion of first year. Compainies like Deloitte, KPMG, PWC, Colgate, Bata , GT and other good companies come to the college every year for the placements every year. The average package offered by the companies is 6.5 CGPA and it may increase this year. The student placement is 100%. I have also been selected in Deloitte for tax profile.
