Remarks :

University of Hyderabad maintenance and good NRIF ranking, it's best in India has a better rank than some of the IIT's NIT'S &IIIT's. It has a green Lush campus of 3200 acres. The University has a large diversity of plants and animals. The faculty is well experienced and friendly Has good laboratories. Has two shopping complexes one in the north and one in the south. Has a library with a large collection of books including all subjects. Library provides free remote access to many websites.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I choose to go with Applied Geology out of my interest. Unlike physics chemistry, biology we don't only study in the classroom. Applied geology is a field-based course here we have to visit the field and perform our practicals. For people from applied geology open areas with Rocks, parks, historical sites are considered as lab's. The faculty over here is Fully experienced, everyone has completed their PhD. Term exams are quite easy If we are regular to the classes

Class Size : 25Course Fees : INR 12000 per year

Placement Experience :

As far as I know we don't have placements at the University of Hyderabad But after completing their degree from the University of Hyderabad we'll get easily placed. Many students after completing their degree plan for PhD.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

As it is a central university it has a very low fee. The fee varies with caste. People with disabilities are expected from paying the University fee. Even if there is a fee hike it is reasonable they'll not charge anything unnecessarily. University provides a scholarship every year for some selected students based on the people who applied. Apart front university scholarships we can apply for other scholarships provided by the state and central government

Campus Life :

The University of Hyderabad has l green Lush campus with over 3200 acres. Indra Gandhi memorial Library Is the Library in the University of Hyderabad and it has a large collection of books Of all the subjects. University has sports complexes and a basketball coat, yoga center, Gym. Extra circular activities like night cup and many sports games will be played University will conduct a fest by name sukoon in the month of September

Hostel Facilities :

We have a good hostel facility in the University. 2 students will be allotted in a single room. Rooms are good enough, has all facilities like fan, lights, bed. For any problems, we can contact the warden office and get help.

Hostel Fee : INR 15000 per year

Interview Experience :

For admission into the University, we have to clear the entrance exam which will be compromised of multiple-choice questions. There will be a negative marking of 1/4 for every wrong question. There are some seats reserved for the people belonging to different castes and for the persons with disabilities As I wrote entrance exam after +2 NCERT books are enough to give your best in exam

Course Curriculum Overview:

The timings are very convient from 8 30-1:30, it is very useful for the people preparing for competitive exams after graduation, curriculum is excellent as every 3 day of week we have a hands on pratical for 1 hr 30 min and great outcomes. In terms of improvement everything is so perfect. Internals are scoring as teacher guide and help them regarding what type of questions are asked and how to answer then and when it comes to board paper are corrected by osmania so it depends completely on us and exam are conducted in the month of may- july

Many companies have already started taking interviews. 60% of the students from our college get placed in companies.. We also have an employability skill program provided by the college, which prepares us how to prepare for the interview.. The only disadvantage is the companies offer annual packages only till 3-4 lakhs.. I have planned to take up MBA after my degree..

My college life

Placement Experience:

From the 5th semester onwards we will have placements and are eligible for applying for placements. I think appo 6.5 lakh for annual is the highest and 2.50-3.50 lakh for annual is the average package offered by various companies. Students should have a minimum of 60% throughout the academics can apply as per some companies students with below 60 can also be eligible. I will do mba and also try to get a job so that I can work and student too.
