Remarks

I chose this college because my family is a believer and disciple of swami Ramdev baba, and therefore they guided me to take admission in this college, the admission process consisting of an entrance exam objective-based followed by a 7-day physical test camp followed by an Interview has to be cleared for admission. this college has the basic Vedic value-based education system and traditional approach towards building the personality of an individual. This college has built some great yogis and world leaders. Still, there is some scope for betterment.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

I chose BA in Yoga because I was interested in Yoga and I am a state-level Yoga Player, and also I was always interested in the Vedic culture and wanted to read the scriptures and our Hindu spiritual academics. This course offers a deep insight into the world of yoga and the ways to achieve liberation from yoga as mentioned in the scriptures and other ancient relics. The student to faculty ratio in our class was 1:70. The faculty was well qualified for their job, with degree holders and masters of their subjects and thorough knowledge of what they were teaching and practical aspects of life where their subject can be used. The teaching method is very natural and efficient, They taught as per their prescribed syllabus and the timetable is arranged perfectly without putting too much burden on the students, I have no complaint from the teacher student department or the teaching department. There are two semester exams in a year, comprising of internals, externals and practicals.

Internships Opportunities

2

As of now, there are no internship opportunities for students on or off-campus. So there is not much to speak on this subject. But I think Patanjali should provide students with internship opportunities as soon as possible.

Placement Experience

4.5

Students are eligible for campus placement in their final year, in the sixth semester. Various esteemed companies like cultfit, zarva, Zorba visit the campus and hire the students through an interview and physical test round, the look for an overall developed personality along with fitness. around 60-70 percent of the students get placed as soon as they finish their graduation, the packages offered range from anywhere around 17k-30k. Many students open their own yoga studios and take their own classes. I plan to open my Yoga studio in Rishikesh in the mountains after I finish my graduation.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees remained the same throughout my three-year program which was rs 50k per semester or every 6 months, and this included everything the hostel fees, the mess fees, and all included. There is a scholarship for the top 3 percent of the class with somewhere around rs 3000 per semester. On-campus jobs are provided in fitness companies like cult fit, zarva, etc, Most of the students get selected. Also, Patanjali itself hires most of the students. So to some degree, there is job security, Also since Ramdev Baba believes in charity work, so Patanjali reduces the fees for many underprivileged students or those with weak economic background or facing any problems, the admin department is very understanding and cooperative.

Campus Life

5

There are two major fests which is the sports day, Abhyuday which is conducted somewhere around Feb-march every year with competitions amongst different courses. This is the Major and most exciting event of college, other is Annual day which comprises cultural programs, plays, yoga demonstrations, etc. Various events keep on happening around the year with different personalities like spiritual gurus, athletes, political leaders, addressing the students also there are events like cleanliness drives, blood donation camps, tree plantations, Veda path, havans, yagyas, etc. There is an NSS group, which students can join if they are into educating the masses, helping the underprivileged, and improving the society and nation. The libraries and classrooms are well equipped with state-of-the-art facilities. there are groups and pages on Social media platforms run by students, one can check them to get a better insight into the campus and social life of Patanjali university.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

The hostels are very nice and appealing, with accommodation for three in a room, a Separate study table and locker for each, located in a peaceful and serene environment. The quality of meals unlike other hostels is very top class and nutritious, the menu comprises, seasonal vegetables, beverages, pulses, rice, chappati and salads. There is also dessert once a week. Some of my personal favourite items are bread pakora, halwa chana, aloo paratha, gajar ka halwa. There is also tea available once in the evening and once in the morning. Rented rooms and PG options are also available with various options in the neighbourhood, ranging from luxury suites to affordable PGs and flats. To fill for the hostel it can be done at the time of paying the admission fees. The locality is sub-urban, located on the Delhi-Uttrakhand HIghway therefore there are thousands of options for accommodation.

Interview Experience

5

Yes, I had to face an interview round where questions were asked from basic topics related to my course like yoga, my background, and various day to day general knowledge questions. the process for admission is very easy every year around May-June the admission form is released on they Patanjali university official website, one can fill his or her form from there and then has to come to give the entrance test in Haridwar on the given date, and if he or she clears it, they are called for 7 days fitness test camp, where they have to stay there for 7 days and give a presentation of the physical as well as mental fitness levels. I prepared for the entrance test, through general books on topics of yoga, listening to baba Ramdev lectures on youtube, and for the physical test same, practicing from watching yoga from Ramdev baba live telecast every morning on Aastha channel.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Tbh i was comfused what to do so for rhe mean while i decided to do BA. It doesn't, we hardly come to the college even when we did some teachers were not they and we didn't even had a group where they can notify us. Only the students who found them are in that group and they don't add you.. some kind of cult it seems. There was nothing extraordinary about the teaching and i would say even the nursery teacher are more determined to teach kids than them. We had one hour for 30 marks exam AND ONLY 2 hour for 70 marks exam and on top of that they expect us to write 4-5 pages answers and attempt even questions???!! Lets be real, i am not a robot.
