Remarks :

Hindustan University is the best place for extra circular activities like technical associations of the various disciplines play an active role in organizing discussions, seminars, guest lectures, educational tours etc. In addition, there are cultural associations, a photographic club and a music club, each of which arranges programmes and competitions with the help of the students' academic council. We are proud to state that our students are continuously winning prizes at various inter collegiate cultural and sports festivals. Students are encouraged to enroll in the following clubs: Yoga, Music, Cycling, Karate, Gym, and Horse Riding.

Entrance Preview :

To get seat in Hindustan University, one has to qualify the HITSEEE exam. At time of my joining there was no exam.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Course curriculum and structures was good when compare to other colleges. Here in Hindustan student can mold their ideas in to real. The area where University has to improve is Lab Structure by scheduling more time on practicals.

Internships Opportunities :

Yes, but it offers only for certain people, remaining student has to search for the internship.

Placement Experience :

300 students were placed last year. Companies like Oracle, Visa, Capgemini, Infosys, CSC, AKS e.t.c came for recruitment. Highest Package offered is 7 lakhs.

College Events :

Hindustan University is well known for its cultural events. Basketball Tournament, Vahan, E-Luminate, Yantrta e.t.c was popular and major events of the college.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Coming to fee structure it is expensive. Fee Structure for CSE,IT,ECE,EIE,EEE - 1,50,000 MECH,AERO,AUTO,CIVIL - 1,75,000.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

As per the college website and other sources it is mentioned scholarships are given based on merit, but as for my knowledge they gave only to the students who came in sports quota.

Campus Life :

Each School of the University conducts National and International Level Conferences, Seminars, Workshops, Symposiums and other important academic events every year. It gives an opportunity for our students to interact with other University students and share their views and technical knowledge.

Hostel Facilities :

I would rate 6 for boys hostel and 7 for girls hostel.

Alumni/Alumna :

Alumni network in the college was functioning good but they can improve much better by sending some useful info via social media.

Exam Structure :

Exam structure was good and easy to manage the studying schedule. Negative Point : Exam fees was very high.

Faculty :

Not all faculty are up to the mark only some of them are very good in teaching.

Placement Experience:

The campus placements start in the 7th semester. Due to the recession, there is a lot of backlash when it comes to placements. It has been quite poor for the last few years. But it depends on how the student is prepared for the competitive world.

Placement Experience:

Placement is good for the CSE and IT departments. You can't expect placement if you belong to other departments, there is a placement for the other departments but very less. Campus placement starts in 3rd year itself. They have special classes for Aptitude skills and interview preparation GD and necessary preparations for job placement opportunities. 90% of students from CSE and IT get placed. The average package is 7.5 LPA you can expect a minimum of 3.5 LPA. If you are willing to go for higher studies you can contact the international relation office they have good relations with other universities abroad, they have students exchange programs, research scholarships etc if you are not planning to seat in placement. I plan for higher studies and research after my Btech.

Placement Experience:

The placements in my college is very good and top companies hire students across every branch with a good amount of package. At the end of 3rd year every student is elegible for the placements in college. About 20 to 25 companies visited for campus hiring and approximately 700 offers were given across the college from every branch. 60 percentage of students got placed in the campus hiring program. Highest package is 24 LPA and the aveyis 5LPA. My plan is to get into a good MNC company which is related to Aerospace technology.
