Remarks :
The college is considered one of the best colleges in Mumbai for engineering. The college has excellent placement reviews from many years and most of the students of the college are placed if they gain knowledge properly. Most of the teachers of the college have great teaching skills and good experience. The college campus is very huge and it is equipped with many facilities such as technical labs, project rooms, auditorium, Sports grounds complex, canteens, hostels, libraries, open spaces. The college many activities both related to the course as well as other than course. The overall environment of the college is great and students and teachers are supportive, open-minded, and encouraging. It is very easy to reach for most of the students living near Mumbai mainly living near the central line of the railway. For outsider students, college has great hostel facilities.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The college being autonomous they develop their own syllabus as per need of the industry. The faculties in the college are postgraduates or PHDs. Faculties being knowledgeable and skilled teaches most of the subjects in a proper way. The college has 60 to 70 students in every division and each branch of Engineering has two such divisions.
Internships Opportunities :
The college offers many internships during the course which are reported to students through emails of College ID. College offers both in-house as well as off-campus internships. It also has many running projects funded by the college which develops different technology.
Placement Experience :
The college has great overall placements. The placement starts from semester 7 and 8 last two semesters. Many reputed companies visit the college and offer decent jobs with good packages. The package can start from 3 LPA to 20 LPA depending upon the branch. The percentage of the students getting placements also depends upon the branch which is from 50 to 100 percent.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee of the courses is slightly on the higher side than other colleges and it's a con for many students. But on the other hand, the college will provide students with many opportunities if the student is curious to learn then it's a good college or the fee is worth it.
Campus Life :
The college organizes three fests every year technical, sports, and cultural. The college also carries a lot of activities and competition on an interdepartmental level. Most of the books are available in the library and they are easily accessible. Classrooms and labs are well lit and equipped with presenters blackboards whiteboards and etc. though it doesn't have AC. The campus has most of the sports facilities and proper selections coaching is conducted inside the campus. There is a lot of council-run by students which can be beneficial for the overall development of the students.
Interview Experience :
The HSC passed students are directly recruited from MHT CET or from other all India exams through all India quota completely based upon merit. The college doesn't support or promotes giving admissions on donations. The college recruitment is centralized by the board of education so no need to do anything different. Students need to just follow the rules of the online merit-based admission process doe getting into this college.
