Remarks :

The management of the college is pretty helpful. They would respond quickly and wouldn't keep us waiting for long. They would always listen to the students point of view, even if they wouldn't use it. The Dean is very approachable and students can meet her at any point.

Entrance Preview :

I took NMAT (UG) entrance exam. My rank was 224. I gave 5 entrance exams. I had ranked all those colleges.

Internships Opportunities :

Yes internship is provided by college. Overall experience is good. Stipend varies from 1000-5000 a month.

Placement Experience :

All those who are serious about placements surely get placed. Deloitte, Nomura, Axis Risk Consulting and Barclays keep coming for placements.

College Events :

We have clubs for everything. And also a national level college festival - Vaayu.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

It has increased over the years. BCom (Hons) now costs over 80,000 rupees per year.

Campus Life :

Extra curricular are not encouraged much by the administration. But the students help each other participate. The gender ratio isn't ideal. But it isn't bad either. The college is safe for girls. No cases of discrimination have come up in the past.

Exam Structure :

It was spread out evenly throughout the year. We had internals + main exams.

Faculty :

The college faculty was excellent. We only faced problems with the visiting faculty. But whenever we raised concerns, the faculty was changed.

Student life and academic balance

Course Curriculum Overview:

Accounts is the main reason I chose that subject .because there is a opportunity to get jobs in accountants or in banking sector.curriculam prepares very well .basic concepts to be improved and teaching methods are also very difficult to understand. The exams are very early due to that I can't complete course in a month also

Everything I said is true to my knowledge and I am not sure about anything as years have passed after my graduation.

Placement Experience:

From the 6th semester, one gets eligible for placement. No idea about the packages. And more than 70% according to me might have been placed. I am further studying the professional course and will be going into the profession of teaching.

Thane college

Remarks:

Very non fussy and dedicated to study type.of college with no nonsense approach to studies.

Admission:

I chose this college mainly due to proximity to my house which was then in thane. And also because the college had a fairly good reputation.Since I had got very good marks in 10th standard admission process was a breeze. Chose this course because I was very commercially inclined.
