Remarks :
Well talking about the college academics, extracurricular and placement i would like to categorize whole into three part "Pros" "Cons" "Reason of preferring this college".Pros-1-Advance lab for practical exposure (Texas Instrument)3-High Speed Internet Connectivity(1GBPs)4-Decent Placement opportunity in renowned company and also MNC (Microsoft(handicapped only),Adobe(handicapped only),Tech Mahindra, TCS, Infosys etc.)5-Incubation Center For the Start-up Ideas6-weekly expert lectures from the experts of IIT's.7-Eco Friendly College Campus.10- Most Motivating Part is that college offer two program diploma and degree in diploma total 100% seats are reserved for the DIVYANG students and degree is general so it is a very great opportunity for us to live a day to day life with specially abled persons and learn a lot from them.and at the end here comes the most important fact that inspired me to choose this college-IIT Kanpur is only 2 KM Away from college so its a great opportunity for us to learn allot from the IIT Kanpur (IIT Kanpur allow us to attend different expert seminar, labs,workshop so their is a lot to learn from the rich surrounding)
Course Curriculum Overview :
Mine course is Information Technology-1-the teacher to student ratio is 1:6 2HOD and Faculties are really very supportive to the students 3-teaching methods are very innovative peer group teaching method is my favorite 4-term exams happens almost after every 35-40 days and difficulty level is moderate any serious student can pass the exam easily
Internships Opportunities :
No such opportunity directly provided by the college students on own behalf search for the opportunity only few students got chance from college side to get an call for the internship so overall internship opportunity is some how missing
Placement Experience :
with the college placement cell and central placement cell of university their are a lot of opportunity for the placement (so now placement totally depend upon students - last year approx 1300+ companies visited in university and 20+ in college campus)
College Events :
1-in extracurricular activities major attractions are 3 Day-Night inter college Cultural Fest (Shankhnaad) in month of feb-march (before holi) and 3 days inter college Sports FestJan-Feb(15 days competition 3 days finals) (Aaveg-organised in green park international stadium),Alumni Meet, Blood Donation camp, and various kind of social and cultural events.2- 32 Different extracurricular and academics clubs for the overall development of the students.3-rich library more than 32000 books, science general like chronicle etc, all national news paper, digital library with University e library nalanda access4- Student Activity Cell adopted Five Village under Central Government Program Unnat Bharat abhiyan5.Classroooms are airy and spacious having all basic facilities (projector avaliable for smart classes)
Fee Structure And Facilities :
1-fee is comparatively low its 65 thousand for first year and 60 thousands from second year2- almost 90% students who applied for scholarship got the scholarship only those students not get the chance to avail the scholarship whose forms get rejected due to any uncertainty.3- with the college placement cell and central placement cell of university their are a lot of opportunity for the placement (so now placement totally depend upon students - last year approx 1300+ companies visited in university and 20+ in college campus)
Hostel Facilities :
hostel is decent have a almirah one chair and table one bed.three seater hostel rooms hostel is equipped with water cooler, genset, and basic entertainment facility like badminton,chess, carrom etc
Admission :
Yes UPSEE state entrance exam and after that a counselling will be done by the AKTU for all of its college for govt colleges you have to get a good rank not more than 10000. however tha AKTU is going to change admission procedure from this year it will fill it seats by JEE entrance Exam
