Shreyash Patil's Review On Bharati Vidyapeeth Institute Of Technology - [BVIT] Navi Mumbai, Mumbai

Remarks :

I think Some FEST must be increased and Lab Must be corrected properly. The College does not provide proper water suppy also. We Have College from 9AM to 5PM and after 4PM they stop the water supply to the washroom taps.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The Course Is Good But There Is Almost 70% Of The Things We Have To Byheart. Instead of this i think 70% should be practical so thay each and everyone understands what they are doing. We have exams 2 times a year. Here we follow SEM pattern. As the ODD sem starts in july and ends in November and EVEN sem starts in December and ends in May. Papers Are of 70 marks for theory and 30 are for practical.

Placement Experience :

Placements are good from my college. Big Giants Visit my college for placements. As far as i know the placement head is quite rude and will help you in goodway only if you does not point his mistake Otherwise the procedure will be really slow.

College Events :

We Have Traditional Day, Tie/Saree Day And Our Beloved Bahaar. We Only Have These 3 events and nothing more. And on this note, As People are busy celebrating some teachers call students on these days just to submit their assignments and after we came to submit then they tell bring after 2days and tell us to go home.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

My fee is ä?_66344. It is Quite Expensive But As Maharashtra Government Is supporting us and giving us 50% Tution fee So we only have to pay ä?_36500. Other schemes are also availiable for different Caste.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Our College Does Not Provide Any Scholarship. To Be Honest, Maharashtra Government Provides Scholarship By Providing 50% Tution fee to the students Of OPEN caste. Other Caste Take Benifits from their caste and make their fee As low as ä?_8000.

Campus Life :

We have Sports, And Lab Practicals. They Are Okay. I expected as the college is big then they should be good but in lab not all the computers are working fine and not all computers have internet access.

Alumni/Alumna :

Our Seniors Don't Have brains and they just want to fight for all silly and small reasons even if they cant win. They are total scumbags. I am talking about the people who are intrested in fights. There are also people who are calm and prefer solving rather then fighting

Admission :

First I registered on DTE which is MSBTE's Official page for admission. Then At Every 10 Days They started to get out a merit list and on the 3rd list I got my name in my college. Then I went to college with the admission granted page which i printed our from DTE website. Then I filled admission form and paid fees.

Faculty :

There is Not a single bad thing i can say about faculty as All the staff in my Department as well as whole college are good in behaviour. Whoever you are they treat you equally and Perhaps they are the good ones i got till now in my life.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As every Diploma passing student enters to degree college same process I went through. The faculty of the college are well educated and hardworking. As a student, you have to reach out to your faculty and maintain a good relation with them to get constant support from them. the ratio is 25:1. The teaching method of professors is very professional. Exams are as per the government regulations and the difficulty level is moderate for general students.

There are campus interviews. The internships are provided through interviews and there is placement guarantee provided by the college. But getting and keeping the internship is in the hand of students. I'm also planning to do an internship in my 3rd yr.

Remarks:

I love my college as the way it is, wouldn't change it for anything in the world.

Admission:

I was earlier classed into the pool of NRI students as I had completed my 10th and 12th graduation from abroad. I however did not want to register as an NRI student and wrote the MH-CET which is the state entrance exam and the field under which I chose it was engineering. I managed to attain a good rank and get admission into my required branch and field at Symbiosis Institute of Technology. I attempted the MH-CET exam some time around the beginning of May. I chose the course of Electronics and Telecommunication as it particularly interested me and the main interest in Symbiosis was generated through the fact that one of my cousins had studied there and overall I had heard a lot about Symbiosis especially in the Pune circle. The steps required in this process were i) Application through the Symbiosis Admission Portal ii) Attachment of all relevant documents for verification iii) A counselling session in which all the ranked candidates where invited and offered seats iv) A final verification and admission confirmation

Admission to this course was done on the basis of CLAT exam. The admission form can be downloaded from it? official website and submit it along with the required documents. The merit list is announced on the basis of entrance exam score. We were called for counselling and had to deposit the fee as soon as possible in order to reserve the seat.

Entrance Preview:

I had given AIEEE and MHTCET entrance examination. The college is very well known in Maharashtra. I was interested in this course only. This was the only college choice of mine for the course.

Admission:

Admission process was through DTE. CAP rounds were scheduled before which we have to fill our all details and get it verified at ARC centre with original documents. Then fill the option form, and wait for the results. I got selected in cap round after which I confirmed my admission at the college.
