Remarks :
I preferred this college I heard good about this college from my family and the reviews are good on the internet. as I'm a Viscom student I heard this college was good at teaching equipment also they are good actually. The staffs were really friendly to us. The academic side was actually good as per my knowledge they have given us many opportunities in various activities. The thing that was so bad is the scholarship to their own cast people: They have separate fees for "Jain students" that was so annoying when it comes to equal education. I felt that was so disturbing in college.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose Viscom because I was interested in the creative side like making posters creative videos creative content and so on. Staffs in our departments were actually very friendly with us they speak jovially with us without any hesitation. Each staff handles us in different ways mostly we enjoyed our graphics and photography classes those classes goes either interesting or funny. Exams were actually difficult when it comes to theoretical but we don't felt that difficult as we have field experience and many practical classes so it was quite easy for us to get understand what the concept is.
Internships Opportunities :
We have offered college internships. We have been guided to go for an internship on our own self so that we could gain experience in it also from the college side we also got help for getting an internship. we have got guidance from our staff about internship programs around companies.
Placement Experience :
After the 3rd semester ends students will be asked for placements in which field they need. almost at the beginning of the 4th semester, we will be trained for an interview with some set of people (they are not our staffs) that how to behave in an interview place and how to speak and so much related to interview. the packages probably start from 10k and based on the companies standard it varies accordingly to 25k. Students where start to attend an interview before the final exams so that even if the students lose their exams some students will be getting placement for their performance during the interview stage. I have been placed in an organization also I have received a lot of offers from my college campus. They try to get placement for the students from various places (organizations).
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fees were a bit high here but it values the stuff we learned and explored. The scholarships were generally whatever the gov issued they have it but also they have a scholarship for "cast scholarship" which was "JAIN SCHOLARSHIP" for their religion girls that were so annoying when it comes to equal education. The campus we received are best companies like cognizant, madras market and also some students offered for gov jobs too.
Campus Life :
We have given a lot of opportunities in campus activities every student in the college should compulsorily have to be a member of any one club in the college they will be several tasks in clubs excluding of the academics. there is an event every year which is "Shasun Bazar" we have given the opportunity to sell products as a sole trader. Being a part of a club is not for one department is was for all the departments and it's each individual's choice to join which club they are entrusted to join. As I'm a Viscom student we also got an opportunity to handle a local college radio and college youtube channel in which we will be posting monthly news that happened in our college. There is a general library on our campus in which we have provided around 4000 books. Also every year we will be having "Shsun sanskrithi" in which we Viscom students will be getting an opportunity to showcase our works like our "Art, Drawings, Digital painting, and Photographs"
