Course Curriculum Overview :
Most of us will be thinking hotel management just does cooking, serving etc, but it's just a few points about them. It teaches a person how to start, design, run and manage a huge hotel from utensils used to management of the property. Its an evergreen industry and whoever desires to learn will acquire information about cuisine, cooking styles, liquor knowledge, management knowledge, (kind of trail mba) laundry, housekeeping knowledge, and so on. Exams will be conducted semester-wise usually once in 5 months and have 6 semesters in totally. 5 semesters will be presuming in the college and the last semester will be your internship for about 4 months in any star category hotel and this is for BSC (diploma timing will vary from 1 - 2 years)
Internships Opportunities :
Internships are provided by the college to every student based on certain criteria that is AAA academics attendance and attitude. Compared to academics attendance and attitude are must and grooming standard should be strictly followed the standards will get where it various star hotels from 5 star 4 star 3 star and other chain restaurants also and abroad internship also be provided to country is like Mauritius Malaysia Singapore New Zealand etc if the students at eligible for that. the internship training period will be around 4 months and mostly students will get the preferred location and hotels hotels like Radha Groups, ITC, Radisson, Oberoi, Taj Groups, Leela etc and other well name well known hotels the students will get exposed.
Placement Experience :
Placements will be completely provided to you even though if you can't if you cannot get placed in the college, As I've already mentioned hotel management is a vast field and you can get best anywhere globally in various departments like management and FRONT OFFICE manager, Chef, barista, housekeeping executives and its great course for entrepreneurship and many startups can be made and one will get clean idea while presuming this course for any kind of startups
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
At the time of your admission, the management will clearly explain about your fees details and that will be followed till your last day of the college. no hike or changes will be made with in that and the same fees will be followed I join this college at the year of 2022 and at the time of joining my face Piranha was around 80000 for academics maguition fee and hostel fees will be around 80000 again and exam fees will be varying like 2500 for each semester. no additional fees will be collected unless you have arrears college completely provide your part time jobs and odc which means have already mention that as outdoor catering kind of wonder work in 5 star hotels and their be paying around 700 to 900 for each the work college provide your body and attendance for the day when you go for the work students can satisfied full their needs and other expenses while studying in and some of the students earing around 10k to 15k per month and helps them to follow up the academic needs too.
Campus Life :
Just like other colleges Chennai Amrita also provides cultural activities and many other events related to hotel on environment like usual cultural and celebrity talks personality talks and lectures, various kind of training sessions and it also good club activities is like front office club kitchen club housekeeping club and Food and beverage service club and anyone can join any of this clubs and they can get special training department the chosen. this club should be very very helpful for the students to gain special knowledge about the particular department and I'm done sure that will be very useful in the coming days for them in real life industry work. other local events like Pongal Deepavali Ramzan Christmas and other kind of religious festivals will be held and they can participate and also if I can volunteer in the payment and make them to happen sucessfully. other cultural activities like what a day well and environmental day Earth day chocolate day for day cake day etc
Hostel Facilities :
Initially I thought I won't be fit for the hostel and Edward jot me but at the second day realised that was wrong and the hostels are completely fine and neat and has a good atmosphere also Food is absolutely fine and you will get on which for two days and it for one day and other 4 days will be your veg and menul will be not same as the previous day. morning breakfast to be introduced coffee and evening snacks and table be provided for the students unlike other colleges hostel hostel be maintenance daily and daily cleaning process will be held restroom will be washed twice a day and will be maintened clean and tidy for us, the hostel fee was around 6500 and I hope here after whoever gets admitted they will be charging on 7000 price and still worth the price. boys hostel will be locating inside the college itself and girls hostel is located outside with distance of 400 m and college bus will be appointed to pick them and drop them during the class hours.
Admission :
To be frank, there are no such criteria that you should have so much of marks or other CGPA and percentage in your boards and it's enough to have a basic qualification that is a pass mark of 50 percentage to get admitted into this college admission process will be simple and then any complications and everything will be carried out by the head office department admission process is good and there are no suggestions to be mentioned and everything is fine.
Faculty :
Staffs are like mirror and it depends on the way you behave with them. Everyone's there are industrially expertised and you can gain immense practical knowledge by following them in both academics aswell as in real life too.No issues with staffs and training
