The college is overall good and the facility is also good
Course Curriculum Overview :
The curriculum is based fully upon practical learning and theory where ever necessary. Practical learning because it is what is mostly required for the course as it will help develop a sense of knowledge regarding the course. It provides knowledge about each and every detailed mentioned in the course curriculum.
Placement Experience :
The placement opportunities are are endless. When in 2nd year internships are always allotted. The college requires us to complete atleast 3 internships before completing our 3 year course.
College Events :
The cultural are Shreyas, Shasun Bazzar, Shakthi Cell Event and then the departmental events are held like Sankrathi, Media Fest, Physco club. The events are based on the department and how they want to do it. The main college event is Shreyas which is a 2 day inter college cultural event.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
The fee structure changes according to the course and facilities provided by the course. Different courses have different fee structure. Yes the college provides transparency in the fee breakdown. All the fee required are given in a detail form to the parents of the student.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
I didnt apply for any scholarship but the college does provide scholarship for the jain students and underprivileged students.
Campus Life :
It's a womens college thus all students are women Some facility are male as it is what the job describes. There are labs based upon the course for example for my course we have 3 to 4 labs like drawing lab, editing lab, CG lab, recording lab and etc.
Hostel Facilities :
There is no hostel in the campus but it can be provided around the campus the given discount when mentioned as a student of the college. It starts from single room till a whole house as when it is required by the student.
Alumni/Alumna :
The college seniors and the alumni are always very helpful and they are supportive very much. The senior support the juniors and help and give a lot of opportunities to develop the knowledge.
Admission :
I applied before my results were released so I could submit the form as when my results releases. I choose to opt this course because I wanted to explore my options and develop my interest in cinematography and editing. I'm really into script writing and this college gave my alot of opportunity to explore my career and help me develop my life goals
Faculty :
The faculty is amazing as they are well experienced in their particular field. The faculty is women and some male are also there. I my course there are nearly 15 to 20 faculty 14 bring professors and 6 being support staff. Both professors and support staff are always helpful and supportive.
