Remarks :
It’s ranked among the top 10 central universities of India. Best engineering college, have links with big MNCs. The Jamia review is the blog to know more about campus. Admission usually starts in May-June and announces decisions by July-Aug.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Since I had an interest in hardware and software of a computer, I chose Btech Electronics and communication. The faculty is really good and the ratio is less. Students are more as compared to faculty. Exams were never on schedule and the difficulty was moderate.
Placement Experience :
They only hire toppers or very highly skilled students. Average students do not stand against them. The highest-paid package is 15 lakhs while the lowest is 90000. By the 6th semester, students are eligible to take part in job interviews.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Fees are cheap for normal quota, but for NRI and foreign candidates it’s 2-3 lakhs per year. The scholarship is for those who are extremely good at studies like had 10/10 in all semesters. So no point competing with them.
Campus Life :
Usually, all fests are conducted in the month of February and are Okish. Last to last year Kunal Kamra gave a standup comedy on the campus. Groups and clubs are to interact and none to do social work. No competition in sports very few take part.
Interview Experience :
There’s no such thing as group discussion. Interviews here in Jmi are really tough but the test pattern is easy to understand. Admission is really time and energy-consuming.
