Remarks :

There are not enough colleges for electrical engineering in Mumbai. The admission process is under the DTE MAHARASHTRA. It is a centralized process. You will get the college based upon your score on the entrance exam. So work hard to score good marks in the mht-CET exam. Google will help you to get placement records of years

Course Curriculum Overview :

I was in the electrical department. In the first year, all the students will have the same curriculum. Onwards second year every student will transfer to their respective branches. The electrical branch has 5-6 good teachers who will enlighten you, rest are not worthy. The faculty to student ratio is the same as all the colleges since it is governed by the AICTE. Some teachers have PhD degrees while others have master's degrees but are well experienced. Every engineering college has 2 unit tests each carrying 20 marks and 1 end-semester exam of 80 marks. The unit test is conducted by the college itself while the semester exam is conducted by the respected University I e MUMBAI UNIVERSITY. The exam schedule is also decided by the Mumbai University

Placement Experience :

The placement season starts when you enter the final year that is in the fourth year. Most of the companies have criteria of 60% in your academics. That is you will only eligible for that company if you have an average of 60% in your last three years, 10th and 12th standard. Some companies will come which have no criteria. The electrical department has given the option to students to participate in all companies that are core and noncore. The highest package will not more than 4 lakh/annum while the lowest can go to 1.5 lakh/annum.

Fees and Financial Aid :

Feed is too high as compared to others colleges. The annual fee is 120000 in 2012- 2016. It includes tution fees and all other academic-related fees. This college has hostels too. For the hostel, you have to pay 9000/month. The fee structure will be the same for four years. College does not provide any scholarships it. Various scholarships are provided by state and central government as a minority, sc/st, obc, EWS, this. 50-60% of students from the electrical department will get placed, others have to manage themselves. In the third year, everyone has to do an internship which may be payable depends on your company. You have to use the sources of teachers and yours to get the internship

Campus Life :

The college has a good campus. The student council of the college organizes the main cultural and sports events which are at bigger levels as compared to other colleges. Each department will organize its technical events

Course Curriculum Overview:

The Course Structure at SLRTCE is well structured and covering core electronics and computer science concepts, but it could include more industry oriented skills and emerging technology. It provides good foundation for real world applications and higher studies exams held twice per semester and updates to the curriculum and interactive teaching methods would further improve it's relevance and effectiveness.
