Remarks :

Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode is one of the best management institutes in the country. It has a very rich legacy of producing finance leaders in the business and allied world. It is a beautiful campus with world-class amenities and a great pool of faculty.

Course Curriculum Overview :

IIM Kozhikode has a very comprehensive and rigorous curriculum pattern that is spread over a period of 2 years or 6 semesters. All difficulties hail from top national and international universities. The teacher-student ratio is roughly 1:50.

Course Fees : INR 1100000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Apart from placements, the students are also offered great internship and live project opportunities from top organizations such as Hindustan Unilever, GlaxoSmithKline, etc. The average SIP stipend ranges between 50000 to 1.2 lacs per month.

Placement Experience :

IIM Kozhikode has one of the most splendid placement records among the management institutes of the country. Job opportunities from sectors such as consultancy, IT, FMCG, manufacturing, etc are offered to students from prestigious business organizations. The average package is approximately 26.7 lacs per annum and the highest goes up to 58.1 lacs per annum as per the latest records.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The entire fee for the two-year postgraduate programme in management is around 22.6 lacs. This fee includes the program fees, resource charges, hostel charges, and mess fees. The candidates are eligible for all government scholarships under the ambit. Students can also off for education loans from all prominent banks and institutions.

Campus Life :

The campus of IIM Kozhikode is one of the most scenic campuses in the country. All world-class facilities such as audiovisual equipped classrooms, digitized library, exclusive data, and computer labs, and other sports and recreational facilities are available to the student. The college also organizes annual cultural and business festivals along with its student-run clubs and committees.

Hostel Facilities :

The college has a hostel and residential block within its campus. The rooms are quite spacious and well furnished. Also, the meal served at the hostel mess is up to the mark. One can contact the college administration regarding all hostel-related affairs.

Hostel Fee : INR 117000 per year

Interview Experience :

The admission process begins with the CAT shortlist in the month of Jan-Feb. This is further followed by a professional form filling, group discussion and a personal interview. One can prepare for the group discussions and personal interview by polishing topics from their academic background, general knowledge, current and business affairs.

Placement Experience:

From 3rd semester, students are eligible for campus placements. The companies include federal bank ICICI Bank, Turn B, DHL, Reliance, Kellogg's, and Kimji Ramdas. The highest package was done by Kimji Ramdas for around 21 lakhs per annum. Around 90% of students are placed. My plan is to get placed after the completion of the course.

From 4th semester, students become eligible for placements ie; at the beginning of second year itself . Students are eligible with a CGPA of 7 for most of the companies visiting Amrita School of Business, Kochi. Most of the banks like Federal Bank, South Indian Bank, Kotak Mahindra Bank, ICICI BANK etc comes for placement. Also PWC, Deloitte, BNY Mellon etc comes for placement. Placement Experience:

There are 6 semesters in total and the placement drives starts in the month of November. The students should have above 4.8 CGPA out of 8 to become eligible for the placements. The current average CTC is 8.10 and as of now above 60 companies have visited our campus. The college had 100% placement in the previous year and likely to have the same in the current year. Admission:

My admission was done on the basis of entrance mode. I took the CAT exam and scored 76%. So I was eligible for the admission. Oh! I almost forgot I filled out the application form online from the official website of the Calicut University and then my application was shortlisted.

Placement Experience:

The placement provided by our college was overall good. The placement cell from my college was very active and provided a lot of placement opportunities by inviting familiar companies like HDFC Bank, Axis Bank, ICICI Bank, etc. Our college has an average percentage of 30% and above rate in placement.
