Remarks :
Good aspects include its location, faculty, pedagogy and placements. The bad aspects include fewer annual fests and hectic sessions. I preferred SPJain over other colleges due to its good aspects. The admission process includes scores of CAT and GMAT, overall profile, work experience, achievements and versatility as well as academic performance. The overall cut off for both the entrance exam is 85%ile. The application starts from the month of September itself.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course has 6 terms-3 in each year. In the first year students are taught core subjects, as well as few electives and the second year, consists of specialization subjects, an International Immersion program called Global Fast Track Program as well as internships. The Global Fast track Program occurs in association with Cornell University, Michigan State University and Mellon University. The student-faculty ratio is 17:1. The faculty is rich and erudite.
Internships Opportunities :
100% of students obtain the 8 weeks autumn internships. The average stipend offered is around 2.4 lakhs and the highest stipend offered is around 3.45 lakhs. The key recruiters are KPMG, Asian Paints, Google, Flipkart, Swiggy etc.
Placement Experience :
Key recruiters include Airtel, Reliance Jio, Adani, Aditya Birla, Axis Capital, ICICI Bank, Nestle, L'oreal, HUL, Google etc. The highest package offered is Rs 59.12 lakhs. The average package is Rs 25 lakhs approximately. The median salary remains around Rs 27 lakhs.132 companies visited the campus for recruitment and the entire batch got placed.
Fees and Financial Aid :
The fees are Rs17.89 lakhs. The cost of study may go up to Rs 19 lakhs. The loans are easily available up to 20 lakhs. The moratorium period offered by most of the banks is 2 years. 100% fee concession is offered to students to achieve more than 96% in MET.
Campus Life :
The campus is spread over 45 acres. It has a beautiful botanical garden and lake as well. I spent most of the time at either lake, Yogakutir or chill at spice n spoon. The committees included Industry Integral Committee, Alumni relations committee, Participation Board etc.
