Entrance Preview :

The candidate must write hitsee conducted by the collage on its own since it is a deemed university. Everyone must qualify with the cutoff mark given by the university.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The reasearch program is not that much good in the university since the lack of laboratories.But the faculty helps you to encourage the new ideas and they ll always support you to do the reaseaech. They reccomand the innovative students to international companies for projects related to reasearch programs

Internships Opportunities :

The collage does not provide internship but they will help the student to refer to any company if they have for the opportunity on their own.

Placement Experience :

The placements are quite good. The recruitment is purely based on student performance. The college always refers the talented students to the company to hire. The collage always try to bring the multinational companies in all the field of studies.

College Events :

There are several events were organised when i was studying. The events are organised per each semester and many students from other villages can come and participate in all the events of they are anticipated. The college gives you permission only after explaining the event and think about it.

Campus Life :

The gender ratio is 1:1 and the faculty ration is 20:1 .Every student can go and ask any faculty to get clarify their doubts. The teachers always helpful to students to clarify the doubts and support them. The one good thing about the collage life is raging free campus.

Exam Structure :

The exam structure is two internal tests are conducted every month and after that the model exam is taken at the third month. The exam is conducted on the overall syllabus. Finally the semester exam is been conducted at the end of semester. The exam is on six subjects and the practicals.

Faculty :

The faculty is quite better. They are not that much extraordinary but better enough to clarify all the student doubts. They will always help the student to move forward on any thesis and play supportive role. The faculty can be part of the cultural activities along with the students. They are very close enough to clarify all the doubts.

Average college but a good place to study on your own

The campus placements start in the 7th semester. Due to the recession, there is a lot of backlash when it comes to placements. It has been quite poor for the last few years. But it depends on how the student is prepared for the competitive world.

Reality of Veltech

Placement Experience:

Placement is good for the CSE and IT departments. You can't expect placement if you belong to other departments, there is a placement for the other departments but very less. Campus placement starts in 3rd year itself. They have special classes for Aptitude skills and interview preparation GD and necessary preparations for job placement opportunities. 90% of students from CSE and IT get placed. The average package is 7.5 LPA you can expect a minimum of 3.5 LPA. If you are willing to go for higher studies you can contact the international relation office they have good relations with other universities abroad, they have students exchange programs, research scholarships etc if you are not planning to seat in placement. I plan for higher studies and research after my Btech.

Best place ever visited. My Sweet College.

Placement Experience:

The placements in my college is very good and top companies hire students across every branch with a good amount of package. At the end of 3rd year every student is elegible for the placements in college. About 20 to 25 companies visited for campus hiring and approximately 700 offers were given across the college from every branch. 60 percentage of students got placed in the campus hiring program. Highest package is 24 LPA and the aveyis 5LPA. My plan is to get into a good MNC company which is related to Aerospace technology.
