Remarks :
I chose this college because of multiple reasons, as after a lot of research from friends, MBA mentors, and online reviews, I learned that : 1. The college ranked highest according to different sources with respect to colleges that I had in the bucket. 2. The college has a strong alumni base. 3. The average and median return on investment were higher than TAPMI.
Course Curriculum Overview :
1. I chose the MBA-BM course because I did not want to pursue a niche course and keep my options open. 2. The faculties are highly qualified and come with years of industry experience. Their teaching method is very practical and based on real-time learning. 3. The term exams were held on time and the questions were based on concepts.
Internships Opportunities :
Yes, there are a lot of companies who visit for summer internships at our college. This includes established companies and start-ups. The roles vary from business development intern to business analyst across a wide range of domains. Roles and companues in Sales and Marketing, Operations, Finance, and HR visit the campus.
Placement Experience :
The placements are 100 percent. A lot of companies visit the campus for placements. The highest package revolves around 25 lakhs and the lowest around 9 lakhs. After getting the degree, I would like to pursue my dream job.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
As per my knowledge, there is no scholarship or financial assistance. The fees can be paid in installments and SBI and CBI are the two banks tied up with the college to avail loans. The installment amount comes out to be close to 10 lakhs per year or 5 lakhs semi-annually.
Campus Life :
Annual Fest: Xpressions. The campus is compact and beautiful. The aura is very lively. The library is good too. It has three floors and all business magazines and newspapers apart from a huge collection of textbooks, etc are available.
Hostel Facilities :
This year the rooms are either single or double sharing. Depending on the block, you might get a double sharing with the attached bathroom. The hostels are maintained, although since the college is 34 years old.
Interview Experience :
Yes. There was an 8 min GD and 5 min WAT. The topic of GD was related to political democratization is necessary or not. In the interview, they asked about my major as an undergraduate, even though I had work experience. They asked questions to check my academic vigour in the subject. Apart from the GD-PI preparations, I just went with an open mind.
