Remarks :

I always wanted to do MBA after my graduation so I have the written CAT exam in 2020 and was made eligible for various next rounds of ICFAI. My first preference was Hyderabad Or Mumbai campus as these are the main ones also with good placement rates than Dehradun but my preference was Dehradun as well is located near my hometown so I decided to opt for it.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Faculty are very good and expertise in their respective fields, always ready to help with assignments and webinars l. Most faculties are of age between 45-50 so they tend to have a huge knowledge of guiding students in a good way.

Internships Opportunities :

Internship opportunities are there. If a student wants to work as an intern anywhere then he or she will definitely work with real-time experience. After internship reports need to be prepared that really helps in increasing the persona of the individual.

Placement Experience :

Placement is good around 15 lpa can be offered to the students with an average package of around 8 lpa. Near about 88% of students can be placed but there needs to be a scope of improvement in offering Salaries as lCFAI Dehradun lacks way behind any other IFCAI in India. Companies such as Mahindra, paisabazar. com etc visited the campus

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee is affordable and not that high as compared to other deemed to be universities. Placement is good, most placements are from MBA the only majority of companies visit the campus, and the placement rate is about 80-85% (on-campus). Top students get placed with well-known companies with an average package of around 12-10 lpa.

Campus Life :

Annual fests are not that frequent as that you expect with undergrads are students of MBA are really very busy with the assignments and various other webinars and seminars. But other than fests students are made to attend the webinars related to their respective intrests to gain their knowledge as well as to strengthen their resume.

Interview Experience :

Other than writing the exam there is the next round i.e called GDPI. In a group discussion, you will be placed with 10-15 students and are supposed to discuss the common topic that is being provided to you. Topics are generally very basic and trending, famous ones. If you follow News channels very frequently you can able to crack it very easily. Other than that at the end, every student is made to summarise their views about the discussion and right after the GD, there would be PI ( personal interview round) where 2-3 faculty members would be asking you very basic and knowledge-based questions to check your intelligence and confidence. And near about 30% weightage is given to both the rounds for preparing the final merit list.

The placements, both for the summers as well as finals are considerably good as the number as well as the quality of companies getting on campus is increasing every year. The college offers 100% placement.

Entrance Preview:

The only exam that I had to give was CAT but it was a hard nut to crack. As my score in CAT met the cut-off this college, I received a call letter on my e-mail as I have earlier applied over here. I had to also go through a personal interview round and then got a final admission. All my academic documents and financial documents were also verified.

Placement Experience:

In the 4th semester, the companies started visiting the campus and prominent of those for our course were HDFC Bank and Axis Bank. The average salary offered was in the range of 35-40k a month. Nearly half the students from our batch were placed and I became a stockbroker now but took some experience by working at HDFC securities for a couple of years.

Admission:

Personal interview and the group discussion are the two rounds that you need to clear in order to get admission here. You need to be aware about your course and some questions from your past job/ internship are also asked (if you have done any). Some personality questions are asked as well. Be confident and answer.

Placement Experience:

The placement part is best in GEU. After the 2nd semester, students become eligible for campus placements. Many companies like Amazon, HDFC Bank, Axis Bank, Capgemini, Deloitte, Infosys visit our campus every year for campus placements. The highest package offered to students was 32Lakhs PA and the average package was about 4Lakhs PA. Every year 90% of students get placed in a well reputed company with a good package. If you study well and work hard, then you can easily get placed in some good company. University helps students a lot in their placements and also in their personality development, so they can crack all the interviews easily. My plans after getting the degree are to become a Financial Analyst in a well reputed company.
