Remarks :
They asked which entrance I have appeared for and irrespective of the percentile that I got in CAT, they gave me admission after conducting a small interview. One can directly approach the college as the college didn't have any admission criteria then nor does it has now.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course was good and we were taken on industrial tours once every semester. The exposure provided was therefore great. The number of faculty at the university is high as our batch had 77 students and there were over 10 teachers.
Internships Opportunities :
The college didn't assist with the internships and the students were asked to find it on their own. I worked with Share Khan as an intern in my hometown and during my internship, I learned how to trade on the terminal my intern company was happy to prepare me for NCFM exams which are required to get a license to run a trading portal.
Placement Experience :
In the 4th semester, the companies started visiting the campus and prominent of those for our course were HDFC Bank and Axis Bank. The average salary offered was in the range of 35-40k a month. Nearly half the students from our batch were placed and I became a stockbroker now but took some experience by working at HDFC securities for a couple of years.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Fees in our time were 1.7 lakhs a year. I didn't opt for the hostels as the hostel's curfew time was 8 pm for boys. Our classes used to get over by 6.30 which means we were left with no time to go out if I stayed at the hostels. For students from Uttarakhand, concessions are given in fees but apart from that I don't know if any scholarship was provided.
Campus Life :
The college has prpbably the best crowd in the city. The annual fest GRAFEST was amazing as we used to have fashion shows and many red carpet events back then too. There's a sports ground and also a recreation room where there are many indoor sporting facilities available.
