Remarks :
Its a good club but as each coin has two side it does not tolerate any mischief done by students it has the worst hostel facility according to the money.
Entrance Preview :
Comedk, scored 120 marks, because i was getting this college in counselling i wanna get rvce but did not got it.
Course Curriculum Overview :
It has a good scope for interested students. Number of classes held in college are not very much so that students gets time for self study. So the interested students who wanna do the research gets very good amount of free time. About the electives i know only about the mechanical branch and they provide different elect I've subject for different mechanical fields so students can take them with respect to their interest. Elective courses starts from 3rd year or 5th semester and carry on till 8th semester.
Internships Opportunities :
I don't know about that as i have just entered in 5th semester but it may provide some it may provide internship in for electronics branch students from other colleges i am not completely sure about that.
Placement Experience :
Very good if u are a cs, it students. Let me tell u the statistics shows that only 4 branches students are mostly placed cs it ECE me but many time me students are not satisfied with the job because most of us gets job in it sector there is not much scope for core companies in mechanical but for computer science have very high scope for core company placements. 120 out of 190 in mechanical. Others i don't know about the package were from 3.6 lpa to 6 lpa the companies came were Robert Bosch, TCS, Wipro, Marcedeez Benz, l and T Construction and others.
College Events :
The events celebrated in my college are too much they all celebrate different kinds of events like their best event is bmsce utsav the best in whole Karnataka and also technical fest are held with the name as bmsce phase shift which provide many different opportunities to students to participate in different events held and to compete with others it also allows other college students to participate.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
Now expensive for outside of Karnataka students the amount paid by me for one year is 1.6 Lac and for Karnataka students it is 30000 so there is a huge difference e in fees between them and us so it becomes expensive for us and cheap for them fee is given once in a month in September it also doesn't provide any loan to comedk students but now the prices has gone up to 1.9 lac from comedk/non Karnataka students and 54000 rupees from cet/Karnataka students.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
There are many different type of scholarship i don't have much knowledge of it because i never availed any of it but i know that they give it on the basis of marks scored in college. No loans are provided from college.
Campus Life :
One word answer it's very chilled college, gender ratio is same as other college no female in mechanical and no male in architecture 60- 40 is the ratio of male female in computer science branch parties are not held very much, workshops are held regularly and price to register is very high like 2000 the students come from different states so it has diversity I don't know about economic status.
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel facilities are very bad first its very costly 1.8 lac per year with including mess second there are not many rooms are available they are filled very early in the month of may only so for a new student who come to take admission in July they don't get the hostel so we have to go live in pg now I was paying 6000 rs in for one month which includes living and food but I am from North India and they serve the food from South India so it was not possible for me to eat the food I have to go eat outside which cost me extra 3000 so standard of living is not very good two in a small room are living.
Alumni/Alumna :
Senior students are really helpful unless until you do not piss them off. They helped us how to prepare for exam and what extra activities to take part in and what subjects we have to study perfectly.
Exam Structure :
The exams structure are chilled out perfectly. The exams takes place very frequently like once in a month and we get enough time to do other activities now if you talk about lab exam they held at the end of the semesters and the labs are held like once in week for two hours so there is not much of pressure on students. That is why most of them gets good marks.
Faculty :
Faculty are highly qualified most of them got Phd. Our hod that is Dr. L Ravikumar he has done Phd. From IIT Kharagpur and he is the highly interested teacher who is teaching us right now he motivate us to learn beyond the books try to think what has not been thought and to create something that has not been created he always say to us that creating a job is better than finding a job other teachers are also very high qualified and interested they gives us projects regularly based on out interest so we can say the teachers are interested in student's interest most of them have don't master in engineering.
