Remarks :

Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University is one of the few universities with petroleum engineering course in India and also one of the most reputed one. 40% seats here are reserved through JEE examination marks. I kept in mind the reputation and the campus placements while choosing this university.

Course Curriculum Overview :

All the faculty here is qualified very well and have a good experience in the petroleum field. The students are divided into batches and each batch has a separate classroom, hence the student to faculty ratio is less.

Class Size : 120Course Fees : INR 300000 per year

Placement Experience :

The great placements offered at PDPU was one of the main reasons to choose this university. The highest package for the petroleum engineering till now is 20lakh/annum while the average is 6lakh/annum. Big companies visit our campus every year to recruit the students with hefty good packages.

College Events :

Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University has a very big and beautiful campus. There are events and concerts almost every other month here and students have plenty of clubs to choose from. Many students join the sports to play for the university at state ot national level too.

Placement Experience:

From 8 semester students are eligible for campus placements. Well-known chemical industries like JB chemicals, Sun Pharma, Ami polymers, Jubilant, Aditya Birla etc. The highest package was about 4.5 lakh for chemical engineering was offered. About 97 percent of students got placed.

Good faculties and nice infrastructure but average placements

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for taking part in job fairs if they feel they have the required knowledge and ability for the job. The highest salary package offered was 1.80 LPA, the lowest salary package offered was 1 LPA, and the average salary package offered was 1.20 LPA. About 40 different companies came and hired students in their respective companies like Wipro, pharmaceuticals, management and different IT companies. After completing my degree I plan to pursue Masters.

SVIT Vasad is one of the most famous colleges located near Vadodara city. Famous for it's placements amd academic records. The college campus is just 05 mins away from Vasad bus depot.
