Remarks :

Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University, Gandhinagar is one of the only few universities which provide with the course; petroleum engineering in India. Also this university, is ranked among the top five universities in Gujarat. The admission procedure here is done through competitive exam marks i.e. JEE or board examination marks. I selected this college because of the course I am interested in and also because of its ranking.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum here is taught very easily and smoothly. The faculty members are highly qualified and very kind and helpful. Almost all the faculty members here are pHd qualified and the examinations here are held twice while assignments are given weekly with monthly tests.

Class Size : 120Course Fees : INR 280000 per year

Placement Experience :

The highest package for petroleum engineering at Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University till now is of 20lakh/annum. The average is 5lakh/annum and big companies like SHELL, RELIANCE, ONGC recruit studnets every year from the university.

College Events :

Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University has one of the biggest and most beautiful campus in Gujarat. There are events happening every now and then at the university. There are all the necessary amenities needed by the studnets in the classroom and plenty of study material available in the library.

Placement Experience:

From 8 semester students are eligible for campus placements. Well-known chemical industries like JB chemicals, Sun Pharma, Ami polymers, Jubilant, Aditya Birla etc. The highest package was about 4.5 lakh for chemical engineering was offered. About 97 percent of students got placed.

Good faculties and nice infrastructure but average placements

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for taking part in job fairs if they feel they have the required knowledge and ability for the job. The highest salary package offered was 1.80 LPA, the lowest salary package offered was 1 LPA, and the average salary package offered was 1.20 LPA. About 40 different companies came and hired students in their respective companies like Wipro, pharmaceuticals, management and different IT companies. After completing my degree I plan to pursue Masters.

SVIT Vasad is one of the most famous colleges located near Vadodara city. Famous for it's placements amd academic records. The college campus is just 05 mins away from Vasad bus depot. It's having highly talented faculties which is I think one of the best feature of this college. Many facilities have completed their post graduation and are doing research in their fields.
