Remarks :

There is little discrimination between students from the same state and other states from the faculty side and that too from some of the faculties. Other than that the environment of the college is very good.

Placement Experience :

Placement opportunities are no different from other colleges. One mass recruiter and then companies with small intake or may be coming for pool campusing or off campusing in your college. Still gives enough opportunities for your placements except in core branches.

College Events :

Not much. This year freshers was not given. Farewell is not upto the mark. Don't expect a grand farewell or fresher's party. Annual techfest takes place. Cultural fest happens after this with local aur regional singers.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Feasible. Less than other states. Also very affordable if you are in hostel. And if you are from.same state and able to get tuition fee waiver it will be very helpful. You can take it through the entrance examination by achieving good rank in the WBJEE.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

No special scholarship is provided by the college. Only if you come under tuition fee waiver you will not be required to pay your tuition fees. Loan facility is provided by the college as it helps in availing loan from the banks.

Campus Life :

There are lot of extra curricular activities in the college. NCC unit is there in college which is very rare in private colleges as it is only permitted in government colleges. Sports club is there in college which helps you in participating in sub division and open state and national levels. Labs are well equipped especially in mechanical department.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel is very affordable and you will be provided with four time meal icluding evening tiffin. Good especially for non-vegetarians. Vegetarian people may not like the food in hostel as not much option is there.

External Expense : Rs.4000 - Rs.7000

Alumni/Alumna :

A global alumini network has recently been launched from the college and includes the students from past and they will be helping in future campus placements. Senior students are also very helpful in every situation including studies and other problems.

Admission :

You will have to appear in WBJEE for admission in colleges in west bengal. Then further counselling after announcement of results will take place and you will be asked to give the names of college you prefer in order of your preference. Further shortlisting according to the rank will be done and you will be notified.

Placement Experience:

Many more placements are available after completion of the 8th semester. Many reputable companies are taken interviews for final year students like - CIPLA, Mefopharm, Macleods, Pfizer, Alkem for production, QA, QC department. Nestle, Tablet India are taken interviews for medical representatives. Wipro, Cognizant is taken an interview for the pharmacovigilance department.

Hardship ends someday after Placements.

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for placement after the 6th semester onwards.A total of 98 companies visited our college out of which they offered 120 offers and 86 students applied for placements out of which 78 are selected in the CSE branch. The selection was 90 percent. Average pay was 4-5LPA and the highest was 25LPA CTC in India. After getting my degree i planned for higher studies and placement in a MNC.

ItÕs one of the oldest Bschools in Kolkata. I love the infrastructure of the college. ItÕs known for its faculties and placement. IÕve known a lot of students from this college. I visited the college and the people were really professional and helpful.

It's a part of course curriculum to do a practical training once with the help of Dept. of Tourism Govt. of West Bengal. Which basically to prepare us for great jobs. The best department

Remarks:

Nothing is perfect in the whole universe. There were loopholes in the college administration and there were a few, not-so-good guys, who did mistreat with students but thanks to the higher authorities, those were never a permanent issue.
