Ashwin's Review On Calicut University Institute Of Engineering Technology - [CUIET], Malappuram

Remarks :

This is a very rare course and this course offers a detail out view of printing and packaging technology. Also this is the course provided by the Calicut University. Where this is the only college comes under Calicut University with engineering courses. Only 30 seats are allowed for the students in this college for this course. There are a few plus points regarding this college, because this college is directly governing by Calicut University so the students can use all facilities of University by direct means.

Course Curriculum Overview :

This course have an breif history of all era of printing and packaging technology. In my opinion there should be little more updates in Syllabus. According to my knowledge there is a newly revised syllabus in very 5 years.

Placement Experience :

As per the course of B.TECH IN PRINTING TECHNOLOGY is a very placement offering department. There are many companies comming towards college, because this is only college with this course. Many printing companies are looking on the this course to get young employees to the company.

College Events :

There are many off academic activities which we students could enjoy in our campus life. Also tgere is many events hosting in college such as arts sports tech festivals and many. In these day students can enjoy themselves with pleasure.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel are good neat. There are cleaning staff how clean washrooms. Rooms are 4 sharing and there are 4 separate bed for each one in room. Hostel provides common toilet for each floor. These hostels are close to college. There are 24/7 security for hostels. Hostel is very cheap with a fee of 250 per month exclusive of food.

The students become eligible for the campus placements in the 6th semester. The average students getting placed in the mechanical department are about 30%. My plan after completing my mechanical engineering degree is to go for masters in business administration

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum contains a vast area of nursing aspects and they include OSKI as a new component of the nursing curriculum which prepares as well enough to face the job interviews ahead. But the time limit is so short that we find it difficult to complete the syllabus on time. As the syallabus has changed to semester system we are expected to write exams more frequently but that is good as it helps as to improve our writing skills.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Architecture is a tough and time taking course, the syllabus fine in the first three years but later on it becomes hectic. Maybe the syllabus can be reduced and I feel that five years is too long for architecture degree.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course mainly because of the job opportunities. There is plenty of teaching and non-teaching staff in the college. All the teaching staff has Mastered nursing and all are very talented teachers. The teaching method is lecturing and av aids are also used by the teachers like projectors. The exams are conducted after the completion of each unit. It's an average tough exam to score good marks. The only problem is that exams will be conducted daily and the personal behavior of some staff may vary from person to person.

Placement Experience:

No campus placement is provided by college because it is a government college. After getting degree I planned to practice in Kerala high court and also wants to attempt judicial service examination. I also planned to join LLM at central University or in Canada. In Canada there are many opportunities for LLB graduates.
