Our management has very nice attitude to the students.

Course Curriculum Overview

Our course curriculum is very tough than other undergraduate degrees. I an a proffessional student and my college takes a role in making me a better professional. And our curriculum groomed to provide industry specific knowledge to students and helpful in securing on campus placements.

Course Fees: INR 35000 per year

Placement Experience

There are many companies visited in our college for campus placement. And there are many students got placed in many companies at different places. The tentative percentage of students placed every year in my college is 75%.

College Events

Our main technical event is Kaizen. In kaizen there are many students participate from all over the nation. It is a well known program in our college. And another technical events are electra and evensia. Electra is the workshop done for mainly electrical engineering students. And our cultural fest is known as Iliad.In.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Our fee structure is 35000 per year for merit seats. And 75000 for management seats. And one lakh for NRI seats. And there are sest conservation for sc/st/obc students and our college give fee consection for students getting top scores in entrance examination.

Fees and Financial Aid

My college offer E-grantz for backward students for help their studies. And the eligibility criteria for E-grantz is the student belonging any one of backward cast.

Campus Life

Gender ratio in our college is about 2:3. In my college number of boys is greater than girls. And in my college their are many events related to arts and sports. In our college all are equal. There are no seperation between students based on gender and religion.

Hostel Facilities

I opt hostel for my studies. My hostel room is really nice. There are seperate buildings for first years,second years, third years and fourth year girls. The average rent per month is about 3000 rupees. Our hostel rooms are big. It includes about 5 beds, 3 tables, and 2 shelf. And 4 bathrooms and 4 toilets.

Hostel Fee: INR 30000 per yearExternal Expense: Rs.7000 - Rs.10000

Alumni/Alumna

Now our alumnis are in great positions. I had a great experience with our alumnis. Once I fet a chance to interact with my alumnis in alumni meetings.

Admission

I got admission through the entrance examination called KEAM. I opt electrical and electronics engineering for my undergraduation. My college is under KTU. And the admission procedure is start from entrance examination. And some of students get admission by management quota.

Faculty

There are 20 lectures in my course. And they are post graduated in BTech. Their average age is about 35. They are experts in their own subjects. They providing clarifications on our doubts. And our faculties have experiences in their own field. And they all are experts.

Experiences so far

Likes

My experience at lissah has been mixing of challenges. Psychology depart has supportive teachers and classes is good
Campus is peaceful and it’s so greenery there are opportunities to take part in different academics
I also like that the psychology department has its own lab and practical exposure and Lissah is well known for psychology itself

Dislikes

I feel that there could be more programmes activities and opportunities for students to make college life
Location could feel like quiet and it’s not in town area
Those who prefer more active atmosphere I would not recommend here

I chose bsc psychology because I was interested in understanding human behaviour. The curriculum covers different areas of psychology along with subjects such as major psychology minor statistics and physiology then English mdc . Since I am still in my first year I have only experienced the initial part of course

Faculties are good. Most them are very friendly
Class rooms and canteen are also good. Not the best
Fees are very low comparing to other collages

Dislikes

Not giving good placements. Only 1 or 2 good companies good. Others are average
I'm not interested hostel. But my friends in hostel always saying that the food is not good.
Some faculties are not treat all the students equal. Not every only some

Placement Experience:

Placement are not the best. But EY , federal bank, TCS are some the prominent companies that are coming. The negative thing about placement is most of them are offering marking jobs. So if you are someone who is interested in operations this is not the collage you want to in.

TIST , Great college , fun events and more

Likes

Our seniors passed out with flying colors joining different companies or starting their own. There's a good focus on peer learning and student communities which is pretty nice. Canteen food is decent and labs are great
Most people and professors are friendly and they encourage you to try out new things.

Dislikes

Hostel water , busses are pretty fast. Sometimes roads are a bitt rough

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is under KTU syllubus do it's fine. There is a change in curriculum coming 2024 which i assume would make a lot of good changes. The curriculum gives you a head start For most of your work, you need to on your own but the faculty is there to help. The frequency of exams is weekly tests + monthly exams. Its not too difficult of an exam.

I feel like staffs in my department are pretty good, atleast they fullfill their duties to cover the portions in right time
We have placements training, offered free of cost by college itself
Notes and necessary materials for studying are provided from college itself, and most teachers don't force on buying textbooks or other materials

Dislikes

College is located in aarakunnam, which is a bit remote area hence for various needs we often need to travel a few kilometres even for basic necessities
The road to collage entrance is a steep road, and currently it's under construction (it's been a yr)
Students are required to park their vehicles outside the college, as there is no parking facilities for students inside campus

Placement Experience:

Currently placements are bit low, due to inflation, but compared to other colleges like KMEA, etc we have better placements similar to Muthoot and all. We have placement training, and other supports which can help us crack aptitude exams and prepare for placements Almost 70-80% students are placed every year, with an avg package of 4LPA

My dear college

Likes

I liked the atmosphere the college offers and the facilities for studying
The sports facilities are pretty good considering the supplements they have
The library got my attention since it has alot of books and its the centre of attraction of the college

Dislikes

The college doesn't provide any placements and job opportunities
The college doesn't provide any pool options for swimming lessons
Teachers get changed every now and then this makes the continuity of the lessons very hard

Course Curriculum Overview:

The social service got my eyes on this course. The intention of creating the mentality of helping others by social service made me join the course. This course provides a great service towards the betterment of future and people in it.

After 6 th semester students become eligible for placements . It's in the final years . Many companies have visited the college and made offers for the students like Wipro,Tenzo tech , infopark etc Around 70 Percent students get placement

I applied to all government engineering colleges and government controlled engineering colleges in Kerala. In government controlled colleges, I gave first preference to the College of Engineering, Munnar. My KEAM rank was 31247. I didn't get allotments to any other government colleges because my rank was low. I got merit allotment in my college through the caste(OBC) quota. If our rank is less than 33000 in KEAM, you can definitely get merit allotment in the College of Engineering, Munnar. But one thing to remember is that there is only a small number of student intake. Age is not a problem. The admission process was super easy. Just went to college with an allotment slip and the required paperwork which is informed by CEE Kerala and remitted the fees. Tuition fee is 35000 per annum for merit seat and total including extras like association fee, art fee etc it became 55000 for the first year only....Read More
