Remarks

For me it was one of the best college in Mangalore because they have all the facility you want as a hotel management student it was everything you could dream off because the fee was not so high and even the lectures were so good they will teach you very well and the college were conduct lot of competitions, functions, etc and as a hotel management student there was a function it's called Aroma there you have to make food & sell it, like there will be themes for each class and you have to make them and sell it for money it's best experience for us as a student and it's a Nitte institute and see the rating of this college it's 4.6 out of 5 as per Shiksha.com

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I choose this course because I always love to cook and that was my passion that's why I took this course, Each class had over 40 students like it has A & B division and you have 4 years, for qualify you have to pass PU above 45% and the teaching method is very good I mean each lectures had their own method of teachings and they'll make you understand very easily, term exams were held twice a year once on October another on March and exams are not so tough the teachers will teach teach you the important questions and they will make you exams easy.

Class Size: 38

Placement Experience

No placement, after completing 4 years there will be employbility opportunities and in this college there will be a recruitment and lot of students gets selected and the starting salary will be 18000.

College Events

4.5

Aroma is our fest and it will be conducted on December, there are not lot of books about Stories but more books about Hotel Management topics, there will be sports period once in a week there will be indoor games too like table tennis and more, there will be many extra classes like pastry classes and many others, there are lots of clubs.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee's Will be total 250000 for 4 years it will be at 1st year it is 70000,2nd year it is 60000,3rd year 60000,4th year 60000 that's it, Minority scholarship,Vidhyasiri scholarship, etc.

Hostel Facilities

1.5

As a student of this college I could prefer hostel is not so good because there are no strict rules and meals are not so good but the only thing is good there will be transportation facility that's all and this is why I left hotel and we made a room.

Hostel Fee: INR 250000 per year

Admission

No I didn't get any issue on admission like they will ask just your information and why did choose this course and who referred it that's all and I didn't prepare anything

There are a lot of aspects that i really appreciate about the college it's the peaceful professional environment and the quality of teaching, the teachers in this campus are really professional and the methods of teaching are very effective
The infrastructure is at an absolute best with the campus having hostel for both girls and the boys there is a canteen that serves quality and nutritious food for the hostelers and quality sporting amenities where everyone can showcase their talent
Relevance of rigor of the course curriculum to personal and professional development it all depends on the individual on what they would want to pursue besides this campus is a management based school which teaches every management course the best wa

Dislikes

Nothing to dislike about the campus .........
This campus has the most quality amenities
Dislikes personally aren't there because everything that is needed on campus is there

Placement Experience:

The placements and employability of this college is at the top most quality The number of students that do not get placements after the completion of the course is at an all time low Many graduates end up working for a company of choice through campus placements ISME also has a placement team who are excellent at their jobs and have a success rate of getting a job for the students who finish the course at a 98 percent success rate The students who pass out of their respective courses are highly qualified thanks to the effective teachings by the professors in the college

My Regret of joining St George School of Business.

Likes

The College Atmosphere, The Students are mostly good and unproblematic.

Dislikes

The teaching staff they're arrogant and unskilled.
Teaching is below the mark for even average as the bar.
Lab facilities are very poor and the condition ia not sterile for experiments

Course Curriculum Overview:

Semester 4, my course included the concepts of Radioactivity which has been a fascinating topic for me, and wanting to learn that aspect pf chemistry was a reason that lead me to choose this course. the curriculum is not sufficient or up to date for current further academic pursuits. the course curriculum should include more scientific instruments commonly used in labs and the teachers could preferably be more positive with their attitude and create an atmosphere where learning is chased. where the teaching doesn't feel like they're just doing their job and finishing their hours by reading ppts off a laptop. the exams themselves are fair and well prepared. perfectly balanced to score based on how much you've learnt.

ABBS is cut over rest!!

Likes

ABBS means Professionalism and therefore students have to follow the strict uniform code as assigned by our college.
No entry without icard and it has to be around our collar whole we are in college.
Cameras are everywhere and therefore no blind spot and this ensures complete security.

Dislikes

Uniform colour is very poor as it looks like colour of postman uniform.

Placement Experience:

Oracle, Genpact, Amazon and you can name any name which you know in technology and they were at ABBS. Junior software developer roles were the primary roles offered to BCA students and placements worth 4-6 lakhs were offered to us.

And also the campus provide all facilities and make helps to sports and ration is almost equal of boys and girls

Dislikes

Yes some things are there which I disliked first is the campus is very strict and no function are organised yearly ones or twice is very sad thing as compared to other campus
Second thing is food students facing some problem with the food which hear prepared so outsiders facing lot of problems
Third is about hostel facility is good but very strict only once a week the students should go out side and write leave letter to go there native places.

Placement Experience:

Insights of the Gopalan college of engineering and Management by a First Year Student

Likes

Canteen is fine has nice and tasty food and quite a lot of options
Library is also good has every book related to my course and few others as well
Lab facilities are also very nice and the college has a nice crowd

Dislikes

It's nothing like I expected, they don't let students use the ground or turfs. Facilities are pretty bad.
They charge money for everything and has zero facilities for college students. Everything is for there school students.
College is very small and the faculties are rude to students. (Mostly the case)

Placement Experience:

Student are eligible for placements from there 7th semester but I wouldn't recommend relying on college for placements. Not many companies come to this college so placements are really bad. If u have skills it would be better to apply to companies on your own. I don't have details on how many students gets placed but as much as I know it's about 30-50 % And average package is also very low. I plan of gaining skills and certification on my own and job hunting myself in 4th year through my connections and internships. Or maybe go abroad for masters As I'm a first year student I don't know much about which companies come and how much they offer.

Remarks:

I did a two year Master of Divinity course from the South Asia Institute of Advanced Christian Studies. The college is a top spot for studying God and for the mental and spiritual growth of a being. The college is pretty much affordable and the quality of teaching is also good. On top of that, the faculty was vell qualified.
