Remarks :
In a positive way college has good infrastructure, hygiene all the time, so many events and seminar in one year. Its great. In a negative way they have to appoint permanent faculties who teaches one subject. There are some but. More faculties is required.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course is interesting than other course. This is not for every one. You have to work physically. And after finishing the course also you have to do physical job. The course is semester wise based. 2 sem per year and its 4 year course. In 3rd year 2nd sem (6th) sem there will be a internship training for 4 months and 2 weeks. In 4th year (8th sem) therewill be a project work.
Placement Experience :
Yes. We have internship in 6th sem for 4 months 2 weeks. College will help us to get a Skype interview. And we are selected we will be travelling there on particular date they mentioned. In 4th year there is campus interview is there so most of the people opt that. Some find jobs Thier own.
College Events :
In one year 4 main events are done in our college. 1st year will conduct "siha kids". Which is they invite kids to our school and games and other activities are done food is provided. 2nd year will conduct "rendezvous' where students from different colleges come and participate in the event. Its basically a intercollegiate event. 3rd year will conduct "theme dinner" where where students and teenagers all are invited to the college. And a theme based dinner is served. 4th year will conduct "Aroma" biggest event in our college all students from our college will prepare food and sell it. Other colleges will be invited to it. And dance parties everything will be there. A massive event. And other events like annual day, swearing in, onam fest , aatidonji kuta (traditional tulu fest) etc.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
The fee will be around 2.5 lakhs to 3 lakhs. Depending on which year you joined. And additional exam fee, uniform fee, etc will be there. If you want hostel there will be additional fee for that. Almost 2 lakhs rupees will be spent on hostel fee. It can be Paid in semester wise. I don't know if its is feasible or not. It depends on it depends on your financial situation. And a loan is provided by college.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
There is no any scholarship provided by the college. But loan facility is there. And its is too expensive you have to pay double at the end what you paid for the fee. It will take almost 4 year extra to pay the loan. Already college fee is 2.5 lakhs to 3 lakhs. It additional interest is added its difficult to pay.
Campus Life :
Yes we have labs. We have 3 practical in 1st year. Mainly food production, food and beverage service , house keeping , computer applications. And it depends on the semester . In 2 nd year also 3 practicals. Will be there in 3rd year 2 practicals. In 4th 2 practicals. In each semester. And the are definitely exiting. Additional sports day is there and its good. We conduct sports in a stadium. And its good.
Hostel Facilities :
If you want hostel there will be additional fee for that. Almost 2 lakhs rupees will be spent on hostel fee. Itcan be Paid in semester wise. But its is not that good. You have easy access to college by walking down. But the rooms are not that good. Food is so bad. Not a good hostel and i don't prefer it because iam staying in it . So its my personal experience.
Alumni/Alumna :
As sometimes senior students come to our college and gives us some seminar about our career. And how can we achieve it. Faculties also try to bring them to give us a speech. And some students helps to get job for other students.so they are helpful.
Admission :
I went to college with my parents they told above 40% marka required in 12th. I had that. I submitted my all documents like 10th certificate,12th certificate , transfer certificate. Etc. They showed as around the college. Explained the course. And explained thee fee structure.
Faculty :
Faculties are good. But there are less faculties teaching different subject. They don't have one particular subject. If one lecture is taking one subject in 2nd year he will be taking different subject in other 2 classes. Usually students Don't bother about that because at the end on exam day they will study by their own.
