Remarks :
Amazing experience since day one. The campus is good, everyone seems helpful and supportive. The vibes are good. I am happy to choose Jaipuria Institute of management for PGDM. In this ever-changing world, I wanted assured growth in career. I did my math and shortlisted some of the top B-schools from NIRF 2020 ranking. Then inquired about the placements, faculty, etc. Based on my research, I found the Jaipuria Institute of management a suitable choice for me. Admission Process involves a personal interview with a panel, case-based group discussion, paperwork, etc. Overall experience was good. I prepared for GD and PI beforehand. The result was announced with my name on the list. In fact, I was eligible for the scholarship as well. The cherry on the cake. Reasons for preferring this college: 1. Some of my friends were alumni of Jaipuria, and all of them strongly recommended Jaipuria. 2. Their ranking, 3. Their placement record, 4. Their reviews. Overall, it's a good choice for PGDM.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I have chosen this course for career advancement. I've heard that there are 110+ faculty. I've interacted with some, they seem nice. Most faculty members are PhD and senior-level professors and their teaching pedagogy is good. Even though they are highly qualified and experienced, they seem down to earth and eager to guide. I am excited, as I know I'll get to learn a lot here.
Internships Opportunities :
There are various internship opportunities available for the students. They contribute to enhancing the skills and give a better understanding and overall experience to the students. Generally, there are summer internships for the students.
Placement Experience :
From previous year records, most of the students got placed in good companies like HUL. Tata, Amazon, Deloitte, etc. The highest package offered this year is 19 LPA. Placements are still going on. The good thing here is that they conduct centralized placements for all four campuses i.e. Lucknow, Noida, Jaipur, and Indore. My plans are to work hard, participate in most extracurricular activities, get connected with faculty and learn as much as I can, and get hired by a good company.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fees for the PGDM program here is Rs. 10.45 Lakhs. However, I was eligible for the scholarship. This year, for 2021-2023 PGDM, they are offering scholarships of up to 4 lakhs based on your CAT percentile. I was also informed that there's a sibling scholarship of Rs. 50,000.
Campus Life :
The campus is good, food and hostel are also good with most of the facilities accessible. There are two libraries and you'll find everything here. There are various extracurricular activities that are held here. Festivals like Ojas, IIC, Youth Parliament, Youth marathon, etc are there. Various groups and activities are done by students. Overall I'd call the experience overwhelming and exciting.
Interview Experience :
The first thing they ask for is your percentile score in CAT or other exams. It holds 45% weightage. The admission process involves case-based group discussion followed by a personal interview of those who get selected based on GD scores. These two are the most important factors during the admission process. The weightage of GD is 15% and that of Interview is 20%. So, both contribute to 35% marks in the selection process. Other factors like your academic performance contribute to 15%. Work experience and other extracurricular activities contribute to 5%. I'd suggest that you prepare well, be confident and presentable.
