One of the best colleges for MMS degree in Mumbai.

Entrance Preview :

Common Enterance Test (CET) conducted by Maharashtra division. The college also takes CAT scores for its other PGDBM courses.

Course Curriculum Overview :

It is nice and as per the current market requirements. The student is prepared for the corporate world. The electives available are marketing, finance, HR and operations. The first year is common for all and during this one can decide which elective is best for him. In the second year, students can choose the elective of his choice.

Internships Opportunities :

The college provides internship after the first year of the course. The companies came for internship are big corporates, banks, and few local companies. The average stipend ones to about 15k

Placement Experience :

There is a separate placement committee in the college. The placement starts in December of the final year. Few of the good Companies which came for placement are SKF, Honeywell, IDBI Bank, HUL, Infosys, TCS, Indian Oil and many more. Out of the total batch of 120 students, more than 105 students were placed. Few opted not to sit for the placement. The average package was about 6-8 lacs.

College Events :

The college carries various cultural events and management events carried out in college. Paper presentation and other inter college competition. IMP ACT is WeSchool's flagship event held at the famous Matunga Gymkhana grounds opposite the WeSchool campus. Likewise there are various events done in the college and are completely organised by the students.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The fee structure is at par with other colleges and very competitive. The fees are to be paid in 1 instalment. The fees of mms is Rs.2,83,281/- for 1 year. The fee structure is feasible if one wants to do MMS from a good college and wants a decent placement.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The college offers scholarships to backward class students as informed by students. I don't have much idea about the same.

Campus Life :

The gender ratio is about 70-30 and has a good mix of students from all states and educational backgrounds. The College has a cricket team and football team to compete in the inter college competition. The college also participates in the inter college paper presentation.

Hostel Facilities :

I didn't stay in the hostel and hence I don't have much knowledge about it. But as informed by the other students, the hostel is not in the campus and is about 3 km from the campus. The hostel is reported to be costly than the normal rates and it is recommended to make own stay arrangements if possible.

Alumni/Alumna :

The college organises alumni meet every year and gets contacts from them to get the company for campus placement. The college makes full effort for getting its students placed.

Exam Structure :

There are 4 semesters in 2 years and the exam is conducted in the college. The the last semester there are electives which are conducted by the university. There are projects, ppt presentations and competitive exams conducted by the college. The campus is full wifi connected and the the overall environment is very chilled out. The faculty is very co-operative and helpful. The projects are conducted in groups and also independently. Overall it's a great experience.

Admission :

To get admission in MMS course under Mumbai University one needs to appear for CET exam of Maharashtra. Once the results are out, a form needs to be filled with the choice of Colleges and needs to be filed online. Depending on the score and eligibility a college is alloted.

Faculty :

The faculty members are very qualified and experienced. There are full time professors for each subject and in addition to it there are part time professions for few special subjects. The part time professors are mostly top executives in big corporates. Overall quality of faculty is top notch and share their real life experience.

Pharmaceuticals, medical devices, market research, consulting, IT healthcare verticals, diagnostics, medical communication, nutraceuticals, and other related healthcare sectors are just a few of the industries where students might find work. Sales, marketing, business analysis, project management, client servicing and business development, international marketing, and operations are among the job profiles they pursue. Every year, the most expensive bundles change. Companies give PPOs to high-performing employees.

Placement Experience:

There is a summer internship after the first 3 trimesters where companies come for interviews and roles depend on the company that selects you. It is for 2-3 months usually and is compulsory ie a part of the curriculum to complete to qualify for the degree. Same for final placement, interviews begin after the 4th trimester is done. More than 50 companies came to campus for final placement and highest package given was 11.2 lakhs and average was 8.8 lakhs which depended on the company and the job role. Roles are offered for consulting, IT, media, manufacturing and banking and finance roles of HR Generalist, HR Business Analyst and Talent Acquisition. Companies such as Godrej, IndusInd bank, TCS, Zee, Meru, Capstone, etc were the prominent companies for the final placement. 100% placement was achieved for the HR specialization.
