Remarks :

The college is just good for its vast infrastructure and for its various events that they host. About studies, its average and most of the faculties doesn't have a clear knowledge of what they are teaching. There is no spirit of inventing new and innovative things among both students and faculty. Some of the faculty are exceptionally good but it's very few. Apart from these things they provided meh scholarship according to my school marks during my admission in around July 2019. 25, 50 and 100 percent according to your school marks and further if you score the highest consistently in every sem your scholarship will be continued and this was only applicable for 50 percent ones. I chose this college because of some personal reason and I was also not allowed to go outside Kolkata.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I started loving to code during my school days and this I wanted to continue further in terms of engineering so I chose this course. The faculty: student is 1:60 in simple words. Some of the faculty members are highly qualified and they are good too but most faculty are qualified but have poor teaching skills. The exams were conducted timely before the covid and after covid and were simple and tricky.

Placement Experience :

The students are eligible from the fourth year for the placements on the campus. All basic companies like TCS, incognizant, Tech Mahindra, Byjus, and various IT companies visits. Till now I have no idea about the highest package or anything about placement. I feel its better not to depend on the college for placement rather try off campus until a very good company visits the campus and it's not for this college I am telling this in general.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee is exceptionally high and the students are not taught up to the fees they pay. During this covid situation, the college didn't reduce an inch of its fees. The scholarship was given according to school marks during admission and it will give if you keep scoring the highest in every sem. I dont know about campus job but I have heard its also not that good.

Campus Life :

For this part, the college is at its level best. Some annual fest like Amiphoria and Sangathan are arranged very very well and its fun being part of it. The library is very well but some main books have a very fewer copy so it's difficult for students to get books. The classrooms are also very good and air-conditioned with a broad board and projector and with comfortable seats Before Covid, the facility for sports was badminton and table tennis and some indoor game which was without restriction apart from that every sport if we play in the campus was restricted and so the university has made a separate building for sport.

Placement Experience:

Students from 7th semester onwards are elegible for campus placements. Some of the companies that visits for placements are Google, microsoft, amazon, pwc, TI, accenture, PPEL, etc. A total of 920 recruiters were there which offered 753 offers to the students and out of them around 75-78% were placed. The highest placement package was offered by microsoft for 51 lpa as PPO to 14 students and the role was IDC. The average package is around 7.5 lpa. I am planning to appear in GATE exam and go for masters in IITs after completion of my degree where i will be persuing my further studies in transportation engineering.

Course Curriculum Overview:

B.Tech in CSE is future proof and a very good course for IT sector jobs and I was always excited working in these companies, that's why I choose the course. There are 10-12 faculties present in every department. Each faculty is M.Tech qualified and Drs. Their teaching quality is very good. 4 internal theory and 2 Lab exams happen each semester. The questions are standard, regular, and sincere students can easily pass.

College was good in terms of studies and many more. But now it fails in giving placement. Most of the students are still unemployed. Only 30% of the students are placed from college. Others have to find there own jobs.
