Remarks

The admission process starts with a GK entrance exam called the ISME Challenge. If you score well you then need to move for an interview with the vice dean and 7 days later you get a conditional/ unconditional offer from the institute. Reasons to choose this college is the new age of faculty and facilities. The college being at Indiabulls centre gives you a corporate touch. I joined this college as it had a lot of Practical Learning rather than bookish knowledge. I didn't find any bad aspect as such but the college leans slightly more towards intercultural clubs to make the college life more interesting.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The course offers practical knowledge rather than just bookish knowledge. The course is inclined more towards live project work, simulations and presentations preparing you for today's work culture. The faculty to student ratio could be 1 to 5 as presentations are done normally in groups of 5. The faculty are usually young and student-friendly. They are PhD and Masters professors who teach. The weekly evaluation followed by semester wise exams is quiet challenging.

Internships Opportunities

4.5

The internships College offers are damn good with big companies like Irm, isme, Aditya Birla, concept pr and communication and other big names. You get additional credits to complete internships. Internships are on and off campus but provide a lot of exposure and learning. You need to submit the internship completion certificate in order to get the credits.

Placement Experience

3.5

You become eligible for campus placements from the third year of your course. There are various start-ups who come in for placements but no big MNCs. The offered rate is good but not too good. Due to covid, offers got withdrawn but 50-60% get placed others join the family business or start something of their own. I am personally self-employed but am still looking for an opportunity.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee is high as per a private university. The cost yearly was 3.10 Lakh per year which increasing 15% every year. There are some scholarships like cultural scholarship where you need to represent Isme in co cultural festivals. You can acquire internships on campus with the general processes and you get paid too. I got 7.5k for an internship.

Campus Life

4.5

Isme Campus is the best ever campus I have seen in India. It's not less than any international College. It has the best of interiors more modern than you can think with a digital and general library. The campus has free wifi, ac and latest facilities. Isme hosts the Illenium intercultural festival with colleges participating from all over Mumbai. The college has 8 Student-led clubs which are very fun and interactive.

Interview Experience

5

To get into Isme you need to first send an application online/offline and pay a basic application fee. Once your application gets through you need to go for this Isme Challenge. Isme challenge is a general knowledge entrance exam and you don't need to prepare anything for it. Once you clear the exam you will be called for an interview with vice-dean post that within 7 days you may not get an offer based on your evaluation.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because I wanted to and I think the college is good to do it from there as it gives you exposure to the industry. The faculty here are nice and experienced, as it's their second year and students are fewer there are 5 faculty for 30 students. The exams are also not that hard if you study as they provide you with the study materials.
