Saloni Gulati's Review On Vivekananda Institute Of Professional Studies - [VIPS], New Delhi

Remarks :

Placements, infrastructure and seriousness regarding studies among college professors and students, the crowd and company is great and the college provides with a lot of co-curricular and extra-curricular activities

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course started only 3 years ago in this college, but despite that the faculties are very well rehearsed on their subjects and they also try to make available as much as workshops and guest lectures for the betterment of the students.

Placement Experience :

The economics course started just 3 years back so jot once has the placements taken place. But being a part of the placement cell of my department, i can tell that many good level companies visit our college and i have seen top level companies approaching our college for hiring students of other courses

College Events :

Really great. Was Enjoying the college life to the fullest before the pandemic broke out. There are many societies to be a part of and that not only gives you experience of many formal things but also makes you feel that you are a part of something important

Campus Life :

The college building is always clean and the furniture is as new as it can be. The ACs work properly and the library never fails to provide the appropriate books, there are multiple grounds on the campus. The canteen food is very much edible, in fact great.

Placement Experience:

Final placements start in the month of November. Many MNCs, startups, foreign companies and companies from different sectors visits the campus for summer internships and final placements as well. Placement activities take place in 2 phases. Profiles offered by the companies are at par the positions offered to IIM and other B School graduates. Almost 100% of the students are placed every year. Highest placement goes up to 32 lakhs, the average is 22 lakhs and the median package is 20 lakhs. The figures are almost the same for all the specializations that DMS offers. There are enormous opportunities for students of each specialization. Overall placement scenario at DMS is good.

Remarks:

Good remark for college is that instead of the course coordinator, every faculty tries to aware their all students about the information of all the events ,workshops, fest, extra curriculum activities ets. They consider it as their responsibility, which I think is best thing of the management.
