Reviewed on Oct 9, 2020

Remarks

The advertisements are very attractive,The location of the college, different kinds of labs for students. I opted mass communication course and the media lab has so much good equipments for editing and for recording, shooting as well.

Course Curriculum Overview

Facilities have good knowledge about their fields. Industrial visit are not upto mark. Syllabus is decided by the HNB Gharwal University. Exams are held in semester wise. Internal exams are also taken.

Class Size: 17Course Fees: INR 216000 per year

Placement Experience

1.5

Many good companies like Tommy Hilfiger, and many more come for placement. Only the capable students are allowed for the interview. Not everyone get 100% placement. And placements are only for BBA, MBA and PGDM students. There is no placement for mass communication or agricultural students nor bcom students.

College Events

2.5

Many events are held but not that much fascinating. 2 fest, Halloween party, prom night, fresher's party, farewell party, dandiya night, Bollywood night, manfest, DBS premier league and every Thursday there is Thursday activity for everyone.

Campus Life

Everything is available. There are two libraries. One media lab. One lab for agricultural students. 3 canteens. 2 grounds. Auditorium, but the stage in the auditorium is very small. WiFi is good.

BEST NAAC A++ COLLEGE IN UTTARAKHAND

Likes

The campus has decent infrastructure, a library, labs and a supportive learning environment.
Faculty members are helpful, and campus life provides opportunities for social interaction and personal growth.

Dislikes

Placements and internship opportunities could be improved, especially for MBA students.

Placement Experience:

At RIT Roorkee, MBA students generally become eligible for placements in the final year. Companies may offer roles in marketing, finance, HR and sales placement opportunities and salary packages depend on the company and student's skills. The highest package, average package and placement percentage vary each year students should improve their communication skills, practical knowledge and internship experience to get better opportunities. After completing my MBA, I plan to join a good company and build my career in management.

Course Curriculum Overview:

To be honest they focus more on pratical rather then theoritical. W went for many industrial visit, like cocola, iits, parleg and many other 1st half classes are for theoretical and 2nd half for training. I think they should make the schedule little lighter but yes they prepare us for the real world challanges that is for sure/

A Well-Rounded B.Tech Journey with Good Infrastructure, Supportive Faculty, and Growing Career Opportunities

Likes

Faculty members are generally qualified and approachable, and students can seek help with academics and projects.
students should supplement the university curriculum with industry certifications, coding practice, internships, GitHub projects and real-world development work.
There are cultural events, technical activities, clubs, sports and other extracurricular activities. Hostel students can participate fairly actively in campus events.

Dislikes

The main improvement I'd look for would be more advanced, industry-standard laboratory equipment and greater practical exposure.
I couldn't find a reliable current official university figure for the overall girls-to-boys ratio.
The ratio can also differ substantially between CSE, other engineering branches and the university as a whole.

Placement Experience:

Haridwar University provides regular campus-placement opportunities across IT, core engineering and other sectors. The university reports strong overall placement activity, but programme-wise salary and placement data are limited publicly, so students should ask for CSE-specific statistics before admission.
