Remarks

I made my choice for this college because of the environment, rules and regulations, previous years success of students and faculty members of the college. College is very strict and restricted. Every student have to attend classes regularly and submit assignments within time

Course Curriculum Overview

Our college has excellent faculties. They always help students. The courses that the college offer are also very good and updated. Extra curriculum activities are also nurtured by the college properly. Authorities always help students in any problem.

Our college does not offer any placements. We need to do higher studies. Companies don't come to our college

College Events

Our college provides a great campus life. We can't bunge class but we used to make fun in the classroom. Students experience restrictions along with fun. Cultural programs like teachers day, freshers, farewell and college fest, seminars happen and gives lots of fun to sstudents.College canteen is the main gossip point for girls in the break time.

Campus Life

Campus infrastructure is not well established. But our principal mam and other members are trying to improve it day by day as it is a long process of time. College library has almost every type of books which students can borrow for their study. Laboratory of our college are good but some more investment is required.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel life is one of the best things of college. You get an opportunity to interact with other people came from different city. In one single room one student has to stay with other 3 students. Foods of the hostel is not homely. As the hostel which is allocated for the students who have practical are in campus, it saves lots of time for travel. Festivals are always happens in hostel rooms.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The Physical Chemistry faculties are the best I got, that influenced me to carry forward my research carrier in Physical Chemistry. The curriculum for the Physical and Inorganic chemistry are upto the mark and I felt improvement in teaching style and curriculum is required for Organic Chemistry part. The difficulty of Internal examination can be improved a bit.

It was good to be a part of that college

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would say the course is good but you have to opt for masters and PhD to get a good placement. After bsc there's not any placement. The curriculum was basically practical and theoretical based. But I think it should be more practical so that we can get a job after doing bsc. The teaching method was good I didn't have any problem with that. As it was under Calcutta University so the exam questions were too difficult, sometimes it came out of our syllabus , i think they should change this a little bit .

The reality of SCC

Course Curriculum Overview:

The syllabus for BSc. Microbiology Hons. was in line with my interests. Few topics like virology, bacteriology, and diversity of the microbial workd are what drew my attention to pick this course. Although there are some portions which one would consider "boring", but I believe every subject has its interesting as well as boring portions. It's seems fair to judge a subject by seeing if the "boring" portions outweigh the "interesting" parts or not.

In terms of relevance and comprehensiveness of the course curriculum, my rating is solid 4.1 out of 5. Because it offers a variety of courses like compulsory english, environmental science, constitution values of India, Inter Disciplinary Courses where one can opt for a variety of subjects which change along with the course proceeds or semester changes. Not only that two major papers and one minor paper are present throughout the semester. As a student we should be well aware of our country and its law as well as how we can keep our environment healthy followed by sustainable development.

Remarks:

This college is extremely good and known for its discipline and the stress it puts on the importance of studying. Also, there are many extra curricular activities thag one can take part in, and the teachers are helpful and encourages for a better future and are also vert capable. I opted for the course because any biology related course excites me and this college has one of the best faculty for this course.

A Brief and Well detailed Review of Berhampore College in 2020

A well trained and better-experienced teachers teach in this institution. Student helpful, but the college is not cleaned well and the canteen system is too bad.
