Remarks :

Just come to the college and ask to the college officials for management seats .. for merit seats on should get sat via Calicut University since this college is affiliated to Calicut University . As this near to Tamilnadu border we have access to both TN and KL at ease . As an architecture student we have to visit sites with Architectural importance . So it's easy to get to this college and go out , as this college is near to THRISSUR - POLLACHI highway . I have my friend as my senior by his recommendation I selected this college .

Course Curriculum Overview :

I chose this course because India is a developing country. So we, not just need engineers to build we need to design a city like Chandigarh was designed city whole of India should be designed. This design can be done only by Architects. The faculty-student ratio is 1:20. Many faculties for enough no of students. Qualification of faculties is bArch and mArch. Mtech Btech qualified teachers are also available because we have engineering subjects. Term exams every 6 months and in between, we have two Series tests. If we study well we would pass.

Placement Experience :

There is campus placement kinda thing. No ARCHITECTURE college has campus placement. we should be finding our own firms for Architectural practice where we would be sending our portfolio. If they like your project they would selecting us.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

As compared to other college fees for this college is very less. The cost of studying is a bit more because this is a kind of course where the cost of the study is High. Scholarship details will be informed by the college officials.

Campus Life :

Campus Life is awesome. I can't tell describe it through words. Wells designed the campus for students. The Admin block and study block is different. Every class has its own studio for Architectural works. We have a volleyball team and a football team. Winners for the last 3 matches continuously. Unbeaten in volleyball.

Typically, architecture programs start with foundational courses that cover architectural history, theory, and basic design principles. These lay the groundwork for understanding the discipline.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Have a good course curriculum that will take us to a level where we think we should learn more and we will be ready to seek knowledge to learn more and more about the topics. They won't spoon-feed us just give us a base. The syllabus is completed on time.

Well the academic theory helps us in realising that what we learn here in the classroom eventually does help us in the real life experience when we go to interships.it helps us in geting that technical edge over others.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As the faculties are practicing architects, we are introduced to relevant methods of problem solvings. In terms of climate, structure and all we are introduced to new softawares every semester. Also every semester has a major project that is based on a real problem within a real site.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I feel like some of the subjects exam duration can be a little more because I think we can have a little more time in drafting and everything, and also can bring new techniques and practices in this field to the curriculum. The exams are held semester-wise.

Architecture is a tough and time taking course, the syllabus fine in the first three years but later on it becomes hectic. Maybe the syllabus can be reduced and I feel that five years is too long for architecture degree.

Placement Experience:

I don't knw much about placements as I am a 1year now. But our seniors are getting placed with a decent salary. The highest a senior got place was for 12L per annum. But the average is much low as the course offers less .
