Remarks

Good life with bad faculties and also i wont suggest anyone this college.

Entrance Preview

I appeared fpr CGPET exam for the admission. The whole admission proceess is based on counseling on rank basis.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum was as usual similar to the most of the college. Same for the first year and for the rest of the year main stream starts and we have to study subject of our branch.

Internships Opportunities

There is no stipend for the internship and no such stipend is provided ever. No companies came fpr internship we ourselves have to search for thhe companies.

Placement Experience

Placement is pathetic how ever they will show lots of good records. Only BPO company will be there in our collge mostly .and for luck students of the college from cs branch gets placed.

Events celebrated were good and nicely celebrated with great passion. Most of the celebrities visited the college.l like ayushman khurana baiju bawara.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is good and not expensive its 48000 for 1year till year 2014 there are some extra fee fpr the extra curriculum activities. Not at all expensive.

There are many scholarship for the students like for the branch openers there is no at all. And for backwards classes there are good facilities .

Campus Life

Campus life is good and enjoyable. labs are pathetic. but sports management are good also the event management is good. No political irrationality . Equal gender ratio . no ethnicity problems.

Mess food is nice for both boys and girls hostel . Hostel is clean and nicely managed by the hostel management . The security for both boys and girls hostel is good.

Senior students are good and they will help a lot in every situations. They will help you to interaction .also the will you in your projects and other problems.

Exam structure is good and nicley managed by the management. The whole exam management is nicley managed.

Likes

Teacher are good knowledge his teaching skills are so good.
Campus are neat and clean,good invironmet.
Civil and machanical labs instrument is so High quality.

Dislikes

Canteen size is very small and cleaness is most important is very bad .
College fees is very high and hostel fees
College Auditorium is very small minimum 200 students is sit here

Placement Experience:

Thos college average placement is 5-6 LPA it's is good in every branch . This college highest placement is 42 LPA this is very High to other colleges. Plans after the completing the course future is very bright

Good college good life

Likes

The college facultys are very well educated and their behaviour is very supportive
The college area is very preferably good for try e convinience of the students
Bus facility is one the best thing i had ever seen in my lifr

Dislikes

Our college is far away from the main city raipur so it makes difficult to travel everyday
The size of the canteen can be extend to a minimum area
The attendance criteria for the students is 75 percentage which can be reduced for the convenience

Placement Experience:

The college provide various campus placement opportunities expected on the pre final / final year of the course but it highly depends on the company s eleigibility criteria for the student but it is very good

College is far away from the city raipur and also away frome city facilities

There is a café named "Pai chai" which is very amazing and lots of people hangout there for its great Cup of tea.
there are so many good staff and teachers for us to teach. most of them graduated from NITs/IITs and even from IIMs.

Dislikes

There is too less hostels for us. especially for those who are from other states.
Teachers give too much assignment work. very hard to deal with.

Placement Experience:

The placement of our college pretty good for the higher branch like Cse , Ece , IT but for lower branches like ours is very low Only 5-10 students got placed last year from biotech . Whereas the placement percentage of Cse is around 90% . The highest package offered was 56 LPA , that is told us in Induction Program.

Since NTPC holds a stake in our college our placements are guaranteed.
Chattisgarh Government has provided a lot of scholarship for students of our college and mostly to girls to encourage girl child education.
Many innovations and researches are promoted as our college believes in building IT leaders.

Dislikes

Hostels are not cleaned daily and sometimes we are left to do it on our own.

Placement Experience:

At IIIT Naya Raipur from 2022 where 74 out of 180 students were placed in 2025 the number increased to 127. So placements are surging and so are the numbers are also increasing heavily as well. 10 lakhs it is after 2025 and by next year I wish it to be 15 or more.

Honest Review of BIT Durg by a student

Likes

Overall infrastructure is good and clean. There are different outlets in the canteen area, one can get different foods. Plus it also has an cafe, in case you need a cup of coffee!
Facilities are nice and helpful with few exceptions.
Sport infrastructure is good, but needs maintenance

Dislikes

I don't really like the campus life here, it's boring, nothing interesting happens here.
Some faculties are super mean, They scold you for small things.
I don't like the fact that fees doesn't decrease, they should atleast decrease each year if not semester wise.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The reason why I chose this curriculum is because I've a keen interest in computer programming. The exams aren't really hard if you know the basics and the curriculum. The Faculties are well educated but low-key outdated. Speaking of curriculum, I feel like the curriculum is super outdated and needs to be changed.

Likes

Campus life: It is very good and homely.
Good faculty and nice teaching 👍🏻 👌 👏
Good coure like CSE with good updated courses.

Dislikes

Less girls sudents . Less girls to boys ratio.
Not good for south students. Cooks according to north students.
No washing machines available for students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I took cse because it is ever green and demanding. Faculty student ratio is very good here. Every teacher here is done with Phd .many in IITs and some in NITs . Their teaching is good. It is very easy to pass exams here. We can Stuy a night before the exam and get descent score.
