Remarks :
had several options on where to attend college and decided to attend at class based primarily on the academic reputation for my major. After college, I was able to compare my college experience very directly with other new grads who started at the same time as me. I was able to see what they had learned and, more importantly, not learned in college. At that time it became clear to me how well prepared I was for doing my job after graduation compared to my peers graduating from other colleges. While I was productive very quickly, others required more remedial training to come up to speed. This starting differential also gave me an opportunity to lead some of our internal training classes, as well as become involved with on-campus recruiting for our future hires.
Course Curriculum Overview :
IÕve found this is an essential component of a good syllabus. Talk about these goals the first day of class to set the stage for the semester. I refer to these goals at key points during the semester
Placement Experience :
The Placement Cell works closely with students and employers alike to ensure the right students are connected with the right companies. The cell recently organized a business seminar in tandem with Ernst & Young as well as a corporate workshop with KPMG to offer students a feel of the corporate world. In 2011, the top on-campus recruiter was Ernst & Young, recruiting 50 students for various positions within the company.
College Events :
The importance of extracurricular activities on college campuses is well established. The primary goals of extracurricular activities focus on the individual student level, the institutional level, and the broader community level. These activities exist to complement the university's academic curriculum and to augment the student's educational experience.
